Ariana Grande took to her social media on Monday (September 14) to tease what it looks like her new music. The new project could be a teaser of music from a new album or a single, but what we do know is that the new material is imminent. Keeping fans on their toes, the 'Rain On Me' songstress just captioned a simple "brb" to a post shared on both Instagram and Twitter. Her post comes with a snippet of a new track which plays a few bars of Grande harmonizing over her own voice. And based on its tempo, it seems the new song could be a possible slow jam.

Fans were quick to share their excitement over the possibility of the artiste's new song. Many of them exclaimed "OMG" while others were left guessing what the new song could be. The fans cannot wait to hear it, leaving comments like "release it NOW" and "NO ARIANA DONT PLAY WITH MY HEART DONT MAKE GO TRU THE END OF 2017 ALL OVER AGAIN" and "So you just gone tease us like that."

Other fans are hoping the song is a rumored Drake collaboration or a tease for an album follow-up to 'Sweetener' which released in 2018. "Sweetener part 2 is coming omgg," said one fan to which another replied, "THAT’S WHAT I THINK OMG." If the new song is a single from an upcoming album, it will follow her smash hit 'Rain On Me' with Lady Gaga which released in May. Grande's latest album is 'Thank U, Next' which released in February 2019.

If fans are hoping for a new album, there is a chance it may see light of day in 2020 as Grande has been sharing several hints on social media. Grande was super busy in the first few weeks of lockdown, delivering an incredible rendition of ‘I Won’t Say I’m In Love’ from Disney’s 'Hercules' and belting out a stunning performance of ‘I’m Still Hurting’ from musical 'The Last Five Years'.

While she’s been busy with such covers, Grande has also allegedly confirmed her next era, which fans are dubbing ‘AG6’. According to Capital FM, on August 17 when one fan tweeted: “This new era is gonna be amazing can’t wait to start it with you [heart] take your time tho),” the singer seemingly acknowledged her next chapter, replying, "'Take ya time / hurry up'".

During the second year anniversary of her 'Sweetener' album, Grande posted a photo of a microphone on her Instagram story, prompting more fans to speculate she is in studio working on a new album for 2020.

Either way, Grande has plans to release a new song soon and we can't wait for her to "brb".
