Are Kalani Faagata and Asuelu Pulaa still together? '90 Day: The Last Resort' star demands 'divorce'
FLORIDA KEYS, FLORIDA: '90 Day Fiance' franchise couple Kalani Faagata and Asuelu Pulaa finally called it quits after a failed attempt to save their marriage on the TLC spinoff show '90 Day: The Last Resort.'
In the previous episode, Kalani stepped out of her marriage and spent the night with another man.
The night out made Kalani decide what to do about her marriage as Asuelu continued to fail to meet her emotional needs.
After multiple cheating scandals, Kalani decided it was time to end their relationship for good and asked for an immediate divorce.
The reality star called an emergency therapy session to break the news.
Kalani said, "I really was gonna just go and talk and try to figure out my feelings for him and my feelings for the other person, but then, we ended up doing other things."
After hearing Kalani's decision, Asuelu collapsed into his chair.
However, when Asuelu asked whether she wanted a divorce, Kalani could only silently nod.
During the session, Kalani noted, "A lot of the time with Asuelu things are just very hard and very complicated."
She added, "I feel like I have to fight to get an ounce of kindness or affection or love. And I don't have to do that with the other person. I know you're trying really hard, but I feel like you started trying and it’s too late now."
She further noted, "I've been fighting for almost seven years to make this work." Kalani also said, "I just don’t want to f*****g do it anymore."

Asuelu Pulaa claims he doesn't want a divorce
After Kalani Faagata revealed she wanted a divorce, Asuelu Pulaa was devasted and claimed that he didn't want a divorce.
Asuelu said in a confessional, "I know everything that’s happened is all my fault. But I can’t do anything... I can’t change her."
He added, "This really hurts and [is] painful. Divorce is not what I want for my family." However, Asuelu and Kalani vowed to remain friends and to co-parent their two sons.
Kalani did not want to drag things out and told Asuelu, "I do think It would be best if we just, right away, divorce." She later admitted in the confessional, "The sooner we get divorced, the better for the kids."
Kalani added, "There’s just nothing more that can be done. I’ve given up. I just hope he can deal with everything and move forward with all of us."
Where are Kalani Faagata and Asuelu Pulaa now?
Kalani Faagata and Asuelu Pulaa have seemingly lived apart from each other for some time now. Asuelu revealed during an Instagram Live in July 2023 that he was living in Las Vegas.
Meanwhile, Kalani moved from Utah to California in 2022. However, in October 2023, Asuelu revealed in a TikTok Live that he had moved back to his native Samoa.
