Andy Cohen and LuAnn slammed as 'irresponsible' for removing their masks for a pic while filming 'RHONY' reunion
Thanks to the pandemic, we had to settle for Zoom-based reunions of our favorite 'Real Housewives' franchise. While the Zoom based reunions were interesting for fans it lacked the dramatic effect and over the top reactions from the housewives. So, when the executive producer of the 'Real Housewives' franchise aka Andy Cohen announced that Season 12 reunion of 'Real Housewives of New York' would be in person and not a Zoom call based reunion, fans were thrilled.
Much to fans' excitement, the filming of the reunion too began. While filming for this much-awaited reunion. Andy and LuAnn de Lesseps, cast members of 'RHONY' took a picture together, which Andy posted on his Instagram. The picture featured Andy and LuAnn standing close to each other with their masks pulled down while posing for the camera. While Andy's was a simple blue mask, the housewife's mask featured her mouth printed on it.
Andy captioned the picture with, "That’s a WRAP! Thanks to our incredible crew who helped us execute this reunion safely. And thanks to Lu for wearing a mask of her own lips! #RHONYReunion #LuAndImproved #YaHabibi." As soon as he posted the picture, fans began slamming him and the housewife for their irresponsible behavior of not wearing masks while standing so close to each other. A fan wrote, "Should either of you really be lowering your mask like that while so close to each other?." Another fan commented. "Taking this pic with your mask not worn properly and with Luann’s mask not completely covering her face and being so close, I did not think you would take that kind of risk."
"You are not wearing masks right next to each other, irresponsible," called out another fan. "You do not look safe being that close with your masks hanging off your faces. SMH," pointed out a fan. "How is this responsible or safe? We’re you all tested. I hope so," expressed a concerned fan. "Did u forget social distancing rules," wondered a fan.
The upcoming reunion special of 'RHONY' will feature some explosive drama amongst the housewives, with Ramona Singer at the center of it all. Ramona has managed to rub off new housewife Leah McSweeney the wrong way by gossiping about her mental health issues. She also got on her longtime friend Elyse Slaine's nerves by being very dismissive of her through the course of the season. We can't wait to watch the drama unfold on our television screens.
