NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: HBO’s most beloved and iconic TV series of all time, ‘And Just Like That’ Season 2 Trailer has just dropped, and it’s just whoa! The trailer features the ongoing adventures of everyone’s favorite Carrie Bradshaw aka our own Sarah Jessica Parker. While the trailer doesn’t hint about yesterday’s surprise news about Kim Cattrall, it does give us a peek at other surprising turns ahead in Season 2. And after seeing this trailer, it is evidently clear that Carrie is officially moving on after the death of Mr Big in Season 1.

Fans were eagerly awaiting the official trailer of ‘And Just Like That’ Season 2 official trailer. The trailer continues to feature the storyline of Miranda, who is newly divorced and having trouble with a new partner Che Diaz. On the other hand, Charlotte is potentially learning to embrace the struggle of parenthood. It seems usual, doesn’t it? But wait, what comes next is a bombshell surprise about the return of Carrie’s former lover Aidan Shaw. It turns out that Carrie reached out to him through an email and they finally met as the trailer moves ahead. Although Season 1 was reckoning, the upcoming season will be the most power-packed, especially with the comeback of iconic characters from ‘Sex and the City’ -- Aidan Shaw, and Samantha Jones.

Carrie Bradshaw is back to her single self

In ‘And Just Like That’ Season 1, the focus was majorly on Carrie overcoming the death of her husband Mr Big, and dealing with grief as she tries to rebuild her life. However, after a long time, she is finally ready to move on. In the Season 2 trailer, she opens a box in her iconic closet, showcasing her wedding headpiece and her voice in the background explains, “You don't move on because you're ready to. You move on because you’ve outgrown who you used to be.” As the trailer shows Carrie moving on with her life, her kitchen isn’t the sweater storage anymore as she was seen making an egg.

‘Hey, stranger…Remember me?’

As the trailer comes to an end, Carrie sends an email to Aidan Shaw. A closer look at the email reads, “Hey Stranger … Remember me? If this is still your email, it’s me — Carrie. Was just thinking about you the other day … and I wondered how you were doing. So, how ya doing?” Although we didn’t get to see what she wrote entirely, she likely said something to the effect of hoping to hear back.

Well, it seems Aidan got the message and the next scene of the trailer shows them together in a restaurant. Aidan says, “Sitting here with you, it’s like 10 years just..” It’s a long overdue heartfelt reunion we all were waiting for and it is finally happening!

‘And Just Like That’ Season 2 will kick off with nine episodes on June 22, 2023, on HBO Max.
