‘How selfish can you be?’

‘And Just Like That’ fans are expressing their disappointment and frustration with the toxic relationship between Che and Miranda. They argue that Che's mistreatment of Miranda and their selfish behavior have reached an intolerable level and they’re passionately rooting to ‘get rid’ of Che taking it to social media as one Twitter user wrote, “Sorry, selfish Che!! Miranda’s son was suicidal! I think it’s a little bit different than your scene!!! Bye!”, another added, “Wow, Che. How selfish can you be?  I'm so sad Miranda has to beg and plead with Che just because she wants to check on her son”. One more fan wrote, “Che is so toxic omg”.

Fans didn’t stop at slamming Che for always thinking about them as one fan questioned Miranda’s foolishness for being with Che after their ill behavior, “After this episode, I don’t understand what Miranda sees in Che”, and another wrote, “Not Che being this selfish. Ew.” One more user reflected on ‘And Just Like That’ Season 2 Episode 3 scene where Che didn’t care about Miranda’s son adding, “Che is trash. Kids always come first.”

Why is Che and Miranda’s relationship toxic in ‘And Just Like That’?

Che and Miranda's relationship in ‘And Just Like That’ is named as toxic by many fans as Che exhibits controlling and dominant behavior, often disregarding Miranda's feelings and boundaries. They consistently prioritize their own needs and desires without considering how it affects Miranda. This power dynamic creates an unhealthy imbalance in the relationship. Additionally, Che's selfishness is evident as they dismiss Miranda's concerns and fail to provide emotional support. They often manipulate Miranda, using their charisma and charm to maintain control over the relationship. This disregard for Miranda's well-being leads to a toxic environment filled with tension and emotional turmoil.

Furthermore, Che's unwillingness to compromise and communicate effectively further contributes to the toxicity. They frequently prioritize their own career and ambitions over the relationship, leaving Miranda feeling neglected and unimportant. In ‘And Just Like That’ Season 2 Episode 3, Che cares more about their ruined family scene than Miranda’s son needing his mother. It highly reflects themes of selfishness, toxicity, and self-centeredness on the part of Che. Overall, the toxic nature of Che and Miranda's relationship stems from Che's dominating behavior, lack of empathy, and self-centeredness, which ultimately undermines their connection and leaves fans wanting Che to leave the show as they ‘can’t stand Che anymore’.
