HBO Max's revival series 'And Just Like That' has brought back our favorite gal pals from 'Sex and The City': Carrie Bradshaw, Miranda Hobbes, and Charlotte York Goldenblat, except for Samantha Jones.

The reboot stars Chris Noth, alongside Sarah Jessica Parker's Carrie as her longtime love interest and beau. Unfortunately, Noth's character Mr Big is killed off in the very first episode of the series. In an interview with Access Hollywood, Noth has opened up about how he was disappointed about his character being killed off 'Sex And The City' revival.

In the interview, Noth also talked about his most favorite memories from the iconic 'Sex and the City' franchise.

Noth said, “I originally called him (director and co-creator of 'Sex And The City', Michael Patrick King) and said, 'Michael, I’m not doing this. I don’t want to die'." To this, Michael said, "No…it’s not 'Sex And The City', it’s 'And Just Like That', and in this story, Big’s got to go".

While Noth's fate was decided prior to the airing of the show, he took it sportingly and decided to have a little fun with his last time playing a fan-favorite character. In the interview, he mentions that when Carrie spots him as he collapses from a post-workout heart attack and yells out "John!", he says, "No, Big", on the very first take!

Noth adds in the interview, "Nobody ever really dies because you're always in the minds of people".

The first two episodes of 'And Just Like That' are available to stream on HBO Max, with more to follow on a weekly basis. Stay tuned!
