American Music Awards 2018: Cardi B and Drake tie for maximum nominations; What's good, Nicki?

Hosted by Tracee Ellis Ross, the 2018 American Music Awards will broadcast live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Tuesday, October 9 at 8 pm ET on ABC

The 2018 American Music Awards nominees have been announced and let's just say, Cardi B is slaying it! With a total of eight nominations, she ties with fellow rapper Drake for the spot of most nominated artist. And this comes right after Nicki Minaj had a lot to say about her beef with each of them. Accusing Cardi of building a career out of 'sympathy and payola,' The Queen rapper also brought up the end of the Drake and Meek Mill feud in her recent 'The Queen Radio' interview.

But all drama aside, there's also pop sensation Camilla Cabella who would score her first AMA this year as a solo artist. Other poignant nominees on this year's potential AMA wins include Imagine Dragons, Post Malone, Ed Sheeran, and Taylor Swift.
