'American Idol' Top 16 Full Lineup
Willie Spence
Willie with his angelic voice is moving on to the Top 16. He has been a favorite of the judges since his audition and he's made sure to make one of the judges cry (in a good way) every time he sets foot on the stage and in front of them to perform. But his solo on 'Wind Beneath My Wings' and later on a duet with Katharine McPhee was a musically spiritual experience and in you missed it, you can click the video below to check it out.
Cassandra Coleman
Cassandra is another unparalleled artist who has made it to the Top 16 lineup. The show offered her the biggest surprise last week and paired her up with One Direction frontman Ryan Tedder. Cassandra had auditioned with the band's hit 'Apologize' and she did an encore of the same last week for the judges but this time, Tedder was by her side and it was truly a treat to the ears. Watch the performance below, in case you missed it.
Hunter Metts
This software developer can sing, and he's made it to the Top 16 lineup. Last week, Hunter Metts took Sia's song 'Chandelier', put his own spin on it by completely changing its arrangement. Even though there were no big notes and no crazy runs during his solo, he showed off his artistry and his unique voice was once again lauded by the judges. "On a bad day, you still sound like yourself so you can't mess this up," Lionel Richie said while Luke Bryan told Metts that he had a voice he could count on. Watch his performance video below.
Graham DeFranco
Twitter was abuzz last week with many people saying Graham DeFranco sounded like a "seductive John Mayer". Graham didn't quite believe in the power of his voice even when he received rave reviews from the judges about him being a good singer. Since then, he seems to have worked on believing in himself more, like the judges keep telling him, and it had reflected in his performances. Check his performance below.
Grace Kinstler
Grace was the showstopper on night one of the all-star solos and duos and she performed with Joss Stone. She showed off her edgy side as she performed 'Queen' by Jessie J and later on she and Joss shut it down with the Gladys Knight & the Pips classic 'Midnight Train to Georgia'. Watch the power-packed performances below.
Other singers who also made it to the Top 16 lineup include - Ava August, Alanis Sophia, Alyssa Wray, Casey Bishop, and Madison Watkins. Also joining them in the Top 16 are Brennan Hepler aka Beane, Caleb Kennedy, Chayce Beckham, Colin Jamieson, DeShawn Goncalves, and Wyatt Pike.
