Megan Fitton got her 'The Bachelor' and 'American Idol' dream come true when the famed reality tv talent competition returned for Season 18 on February 16 night.

'American Idol' kicked off its premiere for Season 18 on Sunday night with a special two-hour premiere that invited hopeful contestants who are looking for a chance to be the next title winner following in the steps of Maddie Poppe and Laine Hardy. The series featured auditions from Savannah, Georgia; Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Washington, DC; Los Angeles, California, and Sunriver, Oregon.

Almost a year after Season 17, judges Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie returned to their panel with Bobby Bones as the in-house mentor and host Ryan Seacrest.

Among those who auditioned was a subway singer from Harlem, who rendered one of the most emotional auditions; a garbage man who has no prior experience but came to the show for his 2-year-old daughter; a Nepali rockstar from Wichita, Kansas, and also a fan of the Bachelor franchise.

Megan Fitton, who hails from Foxboro, Massachusetts, might have been watching 'American Idol' since she was a little girl, but she is a much bigger bachelor fan. That aside, she arrived on 'American Idol' in hopes of bagging the title this season.

The fitness instructor, who also has her own bachelor podcast, shared that even though she likes Peter Weber aka Pilot Pete, she loves Ben Higgins. "Ben Higgins is dreamy, born to be the bachelor," the contestant said. Answering why she is so obsessed with the reality tv dating series, Megan shared, "I just think it is addicting, there's a happy ending and I'm a single chick."

Stunned by Megan's obsession for 'The Bachelor', Katy tells her to choose one show she would appear in if she had the choice, and Megan without a doubt chose 'American Idol'.

Performing her rendition of 'Love Where You're At' by Alan Stone, Megan left the judges, especially Luke, stunned with the grit in her voice. "That was incredible. That's like rockstar, soul, grit, angst, it was incredible to me," Luke said.

"I'm thinking I had to close my eyes for a minute, open my eyes and see where the heck that voice was coming from. Because it sounds wonderful," Lionel shared. Without a doubt, Megan received three yeses from the judges and advanced to the next round.

But what surprised her the most is the person who handed her the golden ticket to Hollywood. Leaving her in shock was none other than Chris Harrison on a video call, who gave her the golden ticket to Hollywood.

Megan might be a bachelor fan, but she isn't here to be the next bachelorette, she is here to be the next 'American Idol' and we can't wait to see where this journey takes her.

'American Idol' Season 18 airs every Sunday night only on ABC. Check your local listings for more information.
