Amber Riley teases single 'BGE' from upcoming EP with cover art, fans say 'want to throw money at it'
Actress-singer Amber Riley took to social media on Wednesday, September 16, to tease a new single from her upcoming EP. Titled 'BGE', the new track is dropping on Friday, September 18, according to the caption for the new cover art she shared on Instagram.
"9 •18•20 #BGE," Riley wrote alongside a yellow, black, and white-themed pic of her which has 'BGE' repeated down the left-side border of the cover art. You can check out the picture here. The 'Glee' star previously teased 'BGE' in another post on Instagram. The post came with its own cover art pic as well, albeit with ambiguous detail on what it was exactly, but Riley teased with a badass close-up photo of herself donning gold lipstick and a gold teeth grill with "BGE" designed onto it.
Although many fans weren't sure at the time what Riley has in store for September 18, her teaser still garnered a whole lot of love and excitement with fans giving comments like, "I don’t know what it is, but I already love it and want to throw money at it" and "YES RILEY CAN’T WAIT FOR FRIDAY!!!!! what does BGE stand for"

The eponymously-named EP has already seen a new single out before its scheduled release date. The track, called 'A Moment', released on September 4 and has a similar covert art design to its followup. Check it out here.
'A Moment' was the final track to be recorded for the EP, according to a recent Instagram post by Riley which she described as "The culmination of everything I went through last year, is in this song." Riley paid tribute to her late 'Glee' co-star Naya Rivera on August 27, with a moving debut performance of the song. A month after Rivera was declared dead at 33 after her body was recovered from a California lake where she went missing while boating with her four-year-old son, Riley paid tribute to her friend as a montage of pictures of Rivera and her son scrolled on a screen behind her.
After 'A Moment' received notable critical and public reception, fans are certainly in high anticipation for 'BGE'. The hype is also real for fans as her self-titled EP will be her very first. Additionally, it will also mark her very first big project as a solo artist after the spotlight of 'Glee'.
