Amber Heard made her first public appearance since her defamation trial with Johnny Depp finished on June 1, Wednesday. Given the conclusion of her and Depp's lawsuit, in which she has been ordered to pay over $10 million in damages, the 'Rum Diary' star was spotted boarding a private jet on Friday, June 10.

Heard was photographed wearing a black Yves Saint Laurent handbag with black pants and a cropped green jacket as she was taken into New York City from a private airport in New Jersey. The 'Aquaman' actress was seen holding a pair of files as she returned to Teterboro Airport in Bergen County after spending time in the city. She traveled to Washington, DC from there. However, Heard opting for a costly means of transportation is a bit weird, as her lawyer, Elaine Bredehoft, said that Heard could "absolutely not" afford to pay so much money a day after the decision was published, while a New York Post insider said the celebrity is now "broke" because of her lavish spending and high legal bills. The 36-year-old actress was caught departing the private plane in Washington, DC, and boarding an SUV with a few others, including her sister, Whitney Henriquez.

See the photographs of her first sighting since the verdict here.

Amber won't be able to file for bankruptcy to avoid making the full payment as $350,000 in punitive damages will have to be borne by her. Many believe she won't be able to land another big movie part so her financial future is in peril. Amber's attorney, on the other hand, stated that they have appealed the decision. "She has some excellent grounds for it," Bredehoft declared. "She was demonized here. A number of things were allowed in this court that should not have been allowed, and it caused the jury to be confused."

"I think it will be very hard for her, "Page Six obtained information from a source close to her about the possibility of her resuming her acting career in Hollywood. "Johnny will definitely work again. Amber can work again, [but] I’d think it will be more the indie route. I’m just not sure studios want the liability of working with her."

Fans on the internet raged, pointing out Heard's hypocrisy and slamming her for lying about her financial problems once more. A user wrote, "Amber Heard is supposedly broke, and owes Johnny Depp $8.35 million, but she just flew into New York for the day, then back to Virginia, on a private jet." Another user commented, "Amber Heard’s rapist PR guy was flying with her on a private jet. So who is paying for all this when she claims she can’t pay Johnny Depp?" "Amber Heard "unable to fulfill charity obligation due to lawyer bills" also Amber Heard stepping off a private jet and into a chauffeur driven car. Life of a pauper is looking good!" A user bashed Heard's hypocrisy.

Depp has been spotted in the United Kingdom. When the jury read the judgment, the "Pirates of the Caribbean" star was in London, performing with famed guitarist Jeff Beck. Depp and Beck played in front of a sold-out crowd at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

Heard issued a statement when the jury gave a decision in favor of Depp and found her accusations of domestic and sexual abuse had been used to slander Depp. "I'm heartbroken that the mountain of evidence still was not enough to stand up to the disproportionate power, influence and sway of my ex-husband," she expressed in a social media post "... It sets back the idea that violence against women is to be taken seriously. I believe Johnny's attorneys succeeded in getting the jury to overlook the key issue of Freedom of Speech and ignore the evidence that was so conclusive that we won in the UK."

After winning the defamation case against Depp also delivered a statement. “Six years ago, my life, the life of my children, the lives of those closest to me, and also, the lives of the people, who for many, many years have supported and believed in me were forever changed,” he wrote in the statement posted on Instagram, adding, “All in the blink of an eye.”
