A woman is stopped in the middle of the road on the pretext of some help, but soon enough, it becomes evident that there is more to this request. She is then blatantly followed, before being kidnapped. Will she be able to save herself? Here's everything you need to know about the movie ahead of the release.

'Alone' will be releasing on September 18, 2020.

Plot

According to the official synopsis of the movie, "set in the Pacific Northwest wilderness, the film follows recently widowed Jessica who, fleeing the city in a desperate attempt to cope, is kidnapped and locked away in a mysterious man's cabin. Her escape from the clutches of this murderous captor lands her in the heart of the untamed wilderness, with only her wits to rely on for survival as her pursuer closes in."

Cast

Willcox plays the role of Jessica, a widow who is kidnapped by a cold-blooded killer. She must try to save her life against all odds. The actress is known for her work in 'Bloodline,' 'Chicago PD,' 'Dreamkatcher,' 'Midwife,' Cover Me' and 'Dirty John'. 

Marc Menchaca

Menchaca plays the role of the man who kidnaps Jessica in an attempt to kill her. Going by the looks of the trailer, he is a maniac who has done this time and again. The actor is known for his work in 'Ozark,' 'Homeland,' 'She's Lost Control,' 'Inside Amy Schumer,' 'The Outsider,' 'Manifest' and 'The Sinner'.

The movie also stars Betty Moyer, Brenton Montgomery, Jonathan Rosenthal, Laura Duyn, Max Huskins, Nico Floresca and Shelly Lipkin.

'Alone' is directed by John Hyams and written by Mattias Olsson. Ben Cornwell serves as executive producer with Yeardley Smith and Kevin Sullivan. Jordan Foley, Victoria Hadeler, Mike Macari, Martin Persson, Jonathan Rosenthal and Henrik JP Åkesson serve as producers.
