'All American' Season 2: Spencer's ex-girlfriend Kia is back and this fan theory hints at how the two could end up together
The second season of 'All American' stopped at an emotional point as Spencer James (Daniel Ezra) and Darnell (Da'Vinchi) made peace with each other. Episode three also showed Olivia Baker (Samantha Logan) trying her hand at the So Cal Muse social club, thanks to her mother's suggestion.
Coincidentally, she bumped into Spencer's ex-girlfriend Kia Williams (Asjha Cooper) who encouraged her to be a part of the group even though her attire didn't match the dress code. Their blooming friendship sparked delight among fans who also wished to see more of their bond on-screen. "That scene with Olivia and Kia was deep. It makes you question if you know those answers yourself. #AllAmerican," Karimah Westbrook, who essays the character of Grace James on the show tweeted.
"I’m happy Kia is back. I like her character and vibe. #AllAmerican," one fan wrote and another posted, "I'm here for Kia and Olivia's budding friendship!!! #AllAmerican." That's not all. Another fan went to the next level when she penned down a fan theory about how Spencer could get back together with Kia.
"First, I think Spencer and Kia might get back together. I doubt Spencer and Layla are going to last much longer considering the fact that Layla will need to spend some time getting better and taking care of herself once she addresses her feelings," she wrote, adding, "I think the opportunity for them to get back together will be through the cotillion. I feel like Kia might ask Spencer to be her escort as a friend but then old feelings start coming back and they try to make it work again."
Moreover, she also hinted at Olivia's romantic storyline with Asher (Cody Christian) on the show. "I also think that Olivia might ask Asher or he may offer to be her escort which will then begin the whole Asher and Olivia romance storyline," her tweet read. As more episodes roll out from the series every Monday, 'All American' fans may find out whether Spencer continues his relationship with Layla Keating (Greta Onieogou) or finds comfort in Kia's arms.
