AleXa to make comeback in Jan 2022 after AAA Potential Award win, star declares on birthday
American-Korean singer AleXa introduced the K-pop world to AI — Artificial Intelligence — right from her debut in October 2019, when she released her single ‘Bomb’. Since then, AleXa has amassed a dedicated fanbase for herself and has provoked explosive reaction from fans.
Now with AleXa winning the Potential award at the 2021 Asia Artist Awards on December 2, AleXa is proving to fans that she has the potential she was awarded for as she surprised them with the news of a comeback. AleXa, who celebrates her birthday today on December 9, announced the news of a comeback in a live stream broadcast on V Live.

AleXa announces comeback
During her V Live stream, AleXa revealed the date of her comeback and confirmed it to be January 6, 2022. In the stream, AleXa revealed that she had completed her recording schedule for her comeback and without dropping any more spoilers she informed fans that she had finished filming the music video for the same.
AleXa’s fans are called A.I Troopers and according to the singer, she is very excited to meet fans. AleXa is releasing a new album five months after releasing her second single album, ‘ReviveR’ with the title track, ‘Xtra’ in July, 2021.
AleXa’s music career so far
So far, AleXa has released 2 single album and 2 mini-albums. She released her first mini-album ‘Do or Die’ in April 2020 with the lead single ‘A.I Trooper’ and followed it with her second mini-album, ‘Decoherence’ in October 2020 with the lead single ‘Revolution’.
After that, AleXa dropped her first release of 2021, her second single album, ‘ReviveR’. Now almost five months after that, AleXa is making her comeback since she won the '2021 AAA Potential Award' and established herself as a 'global super rookie'.
Alexa also became the first K-pop singer to hold a metaverse fan meeting in November this year and now she is making heads turn after she announced her fourth comeback slated for January 6, 2022.
