PASADENA, CALIFORNIA: 'America's Got Talent' is renowned for showcasing acts that resonate with the American audience and Simon Cowell, in the latest episode, proved that he is acutely aware of this. In a captivating turn of events during Season 18 Episode 7, Poetic Flight stepped onto the stage with their peculiar yet engaging performance. Although Simon wasted no time in pressing his red buzzer as soon as the duo appeared, he swiftly changed his tune when it was time to cast his vote.

In order to advance in the competition, each contestant must secure at least three "yes" votes. Poetic Flight's fate on 'AGT' hinged upon this crucial requirement. With Heidi Klum expressing her disapproval and Sofia Vergara and Howie Mandel showing their support, it was up to Simon to determine the duo's future on the show. Rather than simply saying "no" and sticking to his original decision, Simon opted for a more inclusive approach, acknowledging the influence of the audience's opinion on the matter.

'I have decided to give you a oui'

The anticipation was palpable as the act commenced, accompanied by a noticeable absence of audience members in the front rows. It seemed that a daring and risky performance was about to unfold, building up people's expectations. Suddenly, two enigmatic French pilots graced the stage, controlling their remote control planes with precision. The act unfolded to the enchanting melody of 'A Whole New World'. The model planes gracefully weaved through the air, crossing paths with each other while soaring above the heads of the judges. The grand finale featured a mesmerizing display as the planes dipped and soared, showering glitter upon the stage. Howie was left in awe, while Sofia couldn't contain her radiant smile. However, Heidi and Simon, unenthused, pressed their red buzzers, indicating their lack of enjoyment.

Sofia declared the performance as "spectacular," while Heidi harshly criticized it as "boring" and not worthy of Vegas. Howie openly confessed his vivid imagination of this duo conquering the stages of Las Vegas, envisioning their planes soaring through hoops and showering confetti upon the delighted crowd. Simon acknowledged that it may not be suitable for a Vegas show, yet he cast his vote to propel them forward. Even though Simon gave the duo a red buzzer when they started performing, he changed his decision and gave them a "yes" after taking into consideration what the audience wants. He asked the audience, "What am I missing?," trying to understand their enamourment with the performance. He continued, "I have decided to give you...," and then contemplated some more on the answer, building up people's curiosity. Finally, he gave his vote in the language of the pilots, as he concluded his sentence with, "a oui."

'Simon loves the audience fr'

Fans loved the fact that Simon listened to the audience instead of going forward with his own decision, and expressed their approval in the comments of the YouTube video. One said, "Younger Simon wouldve said no,",while another added, "This was cool, I'm glad Simon gave them a chance." Some said, "Soft touch heart of Simon...." Some even slammed other judges for saying no to the act. One joked, "Guess was too plane for Heidi." Another pointed out, "It's a pity that 2 judges didn't choose it, it's an interesting show for me." Another claimed, "If only they included a Sob story..they would gotten full votes."
