LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Singer and pianist Kodi Lee appeared on Season 14 of 'America's Got Talent', and has been extremely popular since his debut. He advanced straight to the Top 5, then the Top 3, and was crowned the winner of the season.
Lee was born with optic nerve hypoplasia and survived a life-changing surgery when he was only 5 years old. Additionally, he was also diagnosed with autism at an early age, but his special needs never stopped him from pursuing his music career. Rock, jazz, R&B, and pop are all included in his musical repertoire. He is a proficient pianist, and Bach, Chopin, and Mozart are among the classical composers that he knows well.

Kodi Lee's stint in 'America's Got Talent' Season 14
Kodi Lee was introduced to the 'America's Got Talent' stage by his mother, Tina Lee. Tina revealed to the judges that her son was blind and autistic, but he was born to be an entertainer. For his audition round on 'America's Got Talent', Kodi performed Leon Russell's 'A Song For You,' which stunned the judges and the live audience. His performance was so powerful that it left everyone speechless for a moment. The judges were so impressed with Kodi's audition that then-judge Gabrielle Union pressed her golden buzzer, advancing him to the quarterfinals.
For his quarterfinal performance, Lee performed Simon & Garfunkel's 'Bridge over Troubled Water' while playing the piano. He received a standing ovation from the judges. While Union was in tears, Simon Cowell thanked the candidate for allowing the public to follow his journey. For his semi-final performance, Kodi awed the judges with Calum Scott's 'You Are the Reason' and accompanied his music by playing the piano. It was only natural for the judges to give him a standing ovation once again. By then, he had also become a fan favorite and advanced directly to the finals. For his final act, Lee performed 'You Are the Reason' with Leona Lewis, and he went on to be the season's winner.
Where is Lee Now?
After his time on 'America's Got Talent' Season 14, Lee became one of the most renowned faces of the reality talent competition. He has a new single out called 'Hello World,' featuring Colin Hay. The song was released in January 2023. Colin Hay is known for being the lead vocalist for the band 'Men at Work' and together the two sound absolutely amazing.
Lee also announced on social media recently that he received a GWEN Luminary Award. The singer shared a few photos from the experience, where he was accompanied by his mom and team. A year ago, he also released his original song video and even gave some live performances. Lee has been leaving his mark on the music industry.
