LOA ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: A source close to actor Jeremy Renner has said that acting is no longer a "priority" for the 52-year-old following his horrible snow plow accident. The incident has cast seriously into question his Hollywood career. Speculations are rife that Jeremy has already shifted focus from his onscreen career.
A source told the Daily Mail that "although he does still love acting, Hollywood is just not a priority to him anymore." In the horrific incident on New Year's Day at his Lake Tahoe home, 'the Hawkeye' actor was crushed under a 14,000-pound snow plow while helping his nephew to remove his car from the driveway at his residence near Reno, Nevada, "breaking more than 30 bones."

'There is so much more that he could be doing to help others'
"Jeremy believes that he survived the accident so that he can use his platform to really create change in the world," the insider further said. "He is very proud of the work that he has done, but this entire situation has really shown him that there is so much more that he could be doing to help others,' the insider revealed further.
Since the accident, Jeremy has left the Lake Tahoe house where the accident happened and returned to his Los Angeles home where he is concentrating on his recuperation after being rendered unable to walk as a result of the injuries he received. His mother Valerie, 69, has been 'Kill the Messenger' star's "tremendous source of support" and has "been at his side as much as possible."
'He is focused on recovery and is doing rehabilitation to learn to walk again'
"His mother comes to stay with him most weekends as well as his daughter Ava," his friends said. They further revealed, "He is really only focused on his recovery and is doing rehabilitation to learn how to walk again. Jeremy knows he is so lucky to be alive." Although, "each day is a little better than before and he is definitely making progress, but the progress is slow."
On Wednesday, Jeremy Renner shared a heartwarming note from his young nephew Auggie on his Instagram Stories, "I am very lucky because my uncle is hawk eye (which is 1 of the Avengers). I am also very lucky that my uncle is alive from his accident," the note read. Renner shared it with a caption, "Love my little man. Bless you Auggie."
