Jeremy Renner shares recovery update after breaking more than 30 bones in snow plow accident
RENO, NEVADA: After Jeremy Renner's snowplow accident on New Year's Day, many worried about his recovery, but now the actor has given a reassuring update! the 52-year-old "Mission Impossible' actor gave his fans a glimpse of his "electrostimulation workout" to help him improve his "muscle strength" more than a month and a half after the life-threatening accident that left him in a coma. For the picture in his Instagram story, Renner had chosen the song 'Lady Madonna' by the Beatles. His leg is seen shaking, as it is wired with stimulation devices from calf to thigh.
Since his accident, Renner has been active on social media and has posted several times about his recovery. He was run over by a 14,300-pound snowplow at his home on Mt Rose Highway near Reno as he tried to get back into the plow when it rolled away. He was then airlifted to a hospital, where he was treated for blunt force trauma to the chest and orthopedic injuries. He had shockingly revealed that he had broken more than 30 bones.

Renner’s life-threatening accident
The actor was taken to the hospital in a "critical but stable" condition and had gone under the knife the next day. Renner has since been discharged and has spoken about his long road to recovery. He recently posted a photo of himself on a bed where he appears to be receiving physical therapy while his legs are being moved by a specialist.
"Morning workouts, resolutions all changed this particular New Year's…Spawned from tragedy for my entire family, and quickly focused into uniting actionable love," he wrote.
Renner thanks friends, family and fans
“I want to thank EVERYONE for their messages and thoughtfulness for my family and I…. Much love and appreciation to you all. These 30 plus broken bones will mend, grow stronger, just like the love and bond with family and friends deepens. Love and blessings to you all,” he had written about his time.
The actor was not alone in this trying time. He had received support from countless fans and intimates- some of them being his co-stars Chris Evans and Evangeline Lilly. The latter had visited him at this home and opened up on the actor’s current physical state, saying, "He was in a wheelchair," she described, according to PEOPLE. "And when we made that movie [2008's The Hurt Locker], he was so young and he was full of verve, and I remember just being so impressed by him.”
