Jeremy Renner's nephew pens heartfelt recovery note after actor's horrifying snow plow accident
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: On Wednesday, Jeremy Renner shared a heartwarming note from his young nephew Auggie on his Instagram Stories. The note, written in Auggie's own handwriting, expressed gratitude for the actor's survival following the snow plow accident he endured on New Year's Day near his home in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. "I am very lucky because my uncle is hawk eye (which is 1 of the Avengers). I am also very lucky that my uncle is alive from his accident," the note read. Renner, who has played the iconic role of Hawkeye in both films and the Disney+ series titled after the character, shared the photo with the caption, "Love my little man. Bless you Auggie." The Marvel star has been documenting his recovery journey on social media ever since the accident, which left him with over 30 broken bones and a potentially years-long road to recovery.
In addition to sharing a handwritten note from his nephew, he also posted a photo of two stuffed animals that he says represent his emotions. "These sloths represent my inside feelings," Renner wrote alongside the photo. The postmarks Renner's first social media update since February 27, when he shared a video of himself working out to improve his mobility. Despite the challenges he's faced in the wake of his accident, Renner remains optimistic and focused on the future. In fact, he's been actively promoting his new streaming series', 'Mayor of Kingstown,' and 'Rennervations' in several of his recent posts.

Renner's accident
Renner, the star of 'Mayor of Kingstown' was involved in a snow plow accident near Reno, Nevada while helping his nephew remove his car from a snowy driveway. The incident occurred when the snow plow started to slide down the street after the car was towed, prompting Renner to jump out of the cab to prevent it from hitting his nephew.
In the process of attempting to divert the vehicle's path, Renner was pulled under its left side track and run over, sustaining over 30 broken bones and various other injuries. He was immediately taken to the hospital and has since been sharing updates on his recovery via social media.

In a recent Instagram post, Renner expressed his gratitude for the outpouring of support he has received, saying, "I want to thank EVERYONE for their messages and thoughtfulness for my family and I... Much love and appreciation to you all." He also shared his belief that his broken bones will eventually heal and grow stronger, just like the bonds of love and friendship. Renner has been actively engaging in physical therapy to aid his recovery, as seen in a video he shared on Instagram where he can be seen rehabilitating his leg using a pole-like tool. He wrote, "Whatever it takes," in reference to a famous line from the Marvel blockbuster 'Avengers: Endgame.'
