Jeremy Renner wishes fans 'Happy Friday' as he shares BTS pic from his Disney+ show 'Rennervations'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jeremy Renner wished his fans a "HAPPY FRIDAY" on Instagram, along with a behind-the-scenes photo from his Disney+ series 'Rennervations,' which was shot prior to his horrific accident in Lake Tahoe. The actor, 52, captioned the image, "HAPPY FRIDAY from all of us #bts #camprennervations @disneyplus," a few days after making his first public appearance since being struck by a 14,000-pound snow plow.
In the image that was shared, Renner is joined by his crew as they review some blueprints while filming at night. The April 12 premiere of 'Rennervations' will follow the 'Hawkeye' actor as he enlists his famous friends to transform vehicles into community service vehicles. The idea behind the show is to locate abandoned vehicles, such as city buses, that can be reconstructed by a crew of skilled builders to serve a new use, like a mobile recreation center. Along with his homeland of Reno, Nevada, the four episodes will cover Chicago, Illinois; Cabo San Lucas, Mexico; and even Rajasthan, India.

'I wanted to do it for communities and help kids'
Recently, a two-minute series trailer with Renner was released. 'I'm buying these decommissioned government vehicles to help reimagine them to serve the community again, just in a different way. I decided to reimagine, repurpose, and renovate these vehicles and I wanted to do it for communities and help kids in need all over the world, "he said in the trailer.
As per The Daily Mail, Sebastián Yatra of 'Encanto', Vanessa Hudgens of 'High School Musical', Anthony Mackie of 'Mission Impossible', and Anil Kapoor of 'Avengers' will all lend a hand to Renner. He explained, "I also brought along some talented and familiar friends to help me deliver them."
In a press release from Disney, 'The Avengers' star says, "I've been on this journey for many years, and I started in my community by building vehicles for people in need. But a few years ago, I thought: How can I plus this up and create a bigger impact on a whole community? And that's what this show does. This is one of my biggest passions and it's a driving force in my recovery, and I can't wait for the world to see it."
Renner says he is doing 'whatever it takes' to get better
Just the day before, Jeremy had his first public appearance after being seriously hurt by a snow plow on New Year's Day close to his Lake Tahoe, Nevada home. On a chilly winter day in Southern California, the 'Marvel' star was a passenger in a car that was spotted in Beverly Hills, California. He smiled as he was transported to an office building, where he spent around thirty minutes before leaving, and seemed to be in excellent spirits.
It was the first time the actor had been seen in public since the tragic occurrence, and he was sporting a red shirt and glasses. Since he survived the horrific accident on January 1, Renner has been documenting his recuperation, which might take years. In a video that showed him boosting his leg strength with the aid of a Technogym bike last week, the celebrity claimed he was doing "whatever it takes" to recover.
