2021 ACM Awards Full Winners List: Luke Bryan, Chris Stapleton win top honors; Maren Morris is Female Artist of the Year

Some of the winners for the 56th edition of the Academy of Country Music Awards (ACM) have already been announced, take a look at who went home with the awards

The 2021 Academy of Country Music Awards (ACM) honored the best musicians in country music. The nominations for the same have already been announced where country music powerhouse Chris Stapleton and singer-songwriter Maren Morris dominated the list with six nods each.

Stapleton scored the nods in top categories including Entertainer, Male Artist, Song, and Album of the Year. On the other hand, iconic country singer Miranda Lambert has been nominated for 5 accolades, including Female Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, and Single of the Year. Interestingly, all the nominations in the Single of the Year category went to female artists. Apart from Lambert, artists like Gabby Barrett, Carly Pearce, Ingrid Andress, and Maren Morris have also been nominated for the award.

Some of the winners in different categories have been announced and musicians such as Gabby Barrett, Jimmie Allen and Kane Brown have already got their hands on the trophy before the main event takes place on April 18 at 8 pm ET. The 56th edition of the event will be hosted by the iconic country musicians Keith Urban and Mickey Guyton from Nashville. Guyton has officially become the first Black solo female artist to host the ACM Awards.

Winners List

The Academy of Country Music (ACM) has announced a series of early winners ahead of the Sunday live broadcast. Jimmie Allen took home the New Male Artist of the Year accolade while Gabby Barret won the New Female Artist of the Year trophy. 

In the video of the year category, Kane Brown’s ‘Worldwide Beautiful’ edged past Maren Morris’s ‘Better than We Found It’, Miranda Lambert’s ‘Bluebird’, and three more songs to receive the accolade.

Meanwhile, Lee Brice and Carly Pearce won Music Event of the Year for their collaboration ‘I Hope You’re Happy Now’.
