'A Royal Queens Christmas': 5 things you didn't know about Julian Morris
It's the season of miracles, hot chocolate and fairy lights with the holiday air being thick with a celebratory mood! With Christmas almost here Hallmark keeping up with tradition is bringing to screens yet another beautiful watch for the festival.
'A Royal Queens Christmas' is a brand new offering that promises how love strikes even in the holidays with a prince coming to the rescue of a lady in need. Dee Dee, played by Megan Park, needs a pianist and lo and behold who does she come across but Colin, played by Julian Morris! What she doesn't know is that he's royalty with the lad falling for her and her humble life which he doesn't get to lead. Julian Morris as Colin
Julian Morris is an English actor who forayed into showbiz with the British television series 'The Knock'. He later went on to star in various shows and movies that include 'Cry Wolf' which marked his entry into the American market, 'Donkey Punch', 'Something Wicked', 'Privileged', 'ER' and more.
Morris's more popular work includes roles in the Emmy-winning 'Man in an Orange Shirt', teen drama 'Pretty Little Liars ', the sitcom 'New Girl' and Apple's 'The Morning Show' opposite Reese Witherspoon.
Morris's grandfather was captured by the Nazis during World War II and was sent to a concentration camp in Italy for two months. In April 2021, Morris said during an interview that he felt what his grandfather had gone through while performing in Valkyrie
The actor is currently in a happy relationship with his partner Landon Ross and the duo celebrated their 18th anniversary this year.
Julian will be portraying the lead character of a prince in the upcoming Hallmark romance.
Megan Park as Dee Dee
Megan Park is a Canadian actress, singer, writer, and director. Having an affinity for acting since a young age she started her career with small parts at the age of 6, Park's first major roles came to her in the Lifetime series ' Angela's Eyes' where she guest appeared and a minor role in the indie flick 'Charlie Bartlett'. Other small roles include 'Diary of the Dead', 'Central Intelligence', 'Jane the Virgin', 'Imposters' amongst others. Her biggest role to date has been her role as Grace Bowman, one of the main characters in the television series 'The Secret Life of the American Teenager'.
The actress took up the mantle of a filmmaker with her 2017 short film, 'Lucy In My Eyes'. She has also written and directed campaigns and high-profile music videos for some of the biggest artists such as Billie Eilish, Gucci Mane, Alina Baraz, and Blackbear which have brought in hundreds of views. Her next work is her debut feature 'The Fallout' which she wrote and directed and will be streaming on HBO Max in 2022. Park is also very family-oriented as you can see from her Instagram feed featuring her kids and other family members. She will be playing the lead of Dee Dee in the Hallmark movie.
