Possible spoilers ahead for season 2 of 'A Million Little Things' titled 'Coming Home'

After a long wait, 'A Million Little Things' is returning for season 2. The family drama starring David Giuntoli as Eddie Saville, Romany Malco as Rome Howard, Allison Miller as Maggie Bloom, Christina Moses as Regina Howard, Grace Park as Katherine Kim Saville, James Roday as Gary Mendez and Stephanie Szostak as Delilah Dixon is ready to have you sobbing and crying from the first scene itself.

Episode 1 of season 2 opens with Eddie confessing to Katherine about his relationship with Delilah and the truth about the child she is carrying. In the tragic scene, he leaves her heartbroken as she sees everything she has known about their marriage come crumbling down. At the same time, Delilah goes into labor and the gang goes to the hospital waiting for the delivery to go through successfully. Despite a successful delivery, the new mother faces some trouble with her new daughter until Maggie steps in and takes matters into her own hands.

Interestingly, the first episode of season 2 also points out to some discrepancies in Barbara's (Drea de Matteo) account of the nature of her relationship with Jon (Ron Livingston). Could it be that we were only told half the truth about Jon's guilt about the 9/11 accident - is there more to their story than this?

The official synopsis of the episode read: When Delilah goes into labor, Eddie feels compelled to tell Katherine the truth about being the baby's father. Meanwhile, Gary and Maggie struggle with living together post-cancer, and Rome and Regina continue to be at odds about having a baby of their own.

'A Million Little Things' will premiere on ABC on September 26, 2019, at 9|8c.
