96.5 TDY Awards 2020: Will Louis Tomlinson win Album of the Year for 'Walls'? Louies are making sure he does
Radio station 96.5 TDY has a brand new awards event coming up for popular artists. Officially dubbed as the '2020 TDY Awards', the event gathers a list of some of the most prominent artists in the year 2020 and allows for complete fan voting as its method for choosing winners.
"Introducing a new, modern award show... one that is truly 100% fan-voted, one that is built for radio and designed for the new age of music and pop culture," a statement says up on their official website.
Head over to Twitter and it looks like former One Direction member Louis Tomlinson is the artist fans deem should get the Album of the Year Award. Many artists are also tweeted about, of course, but Tomlinson fans appear to have dropped significantly more comments to show their support for the singer and his debut studio album 'Walls'.

Nominees for each category are announced at the beginning of that category's round of voting. The Winners of the 2020 TDY Awards will be announced during a LIVE, ON-AIR broadcast on Saturday, January 16 beginning at 7 pm ET. According to the official site, the awards comes "complete with hosts, acceptance speeches and interviews, music, *surprises* and more!" and is "truly an award show made for radio."
