Jenny Slatten, 60, and Sumit's love story had everyone convinced that true love exists but things changed when Sumit's secret came out in the open in Season 1. Jenny left everything she had back home with the hope of living happily ever after with Sumit, 30, in India but was shocked to find out he was already married to another woman.

While she stayed in their house in India, she was shocked to hear a knock on the door one day and find Sumit's father-in-law waiting for her outside. Jenny was left alone in a new city as Sumit tried to control things at home. The show ended with uncertainty over what lay before Sumit and Jenny.

Even though he hinted he was going to file for a divorce, Jenny's family was not convinced. However, the latest season seems to paint a different picture. Jenny revealed she had been staying with her daughter after coming back from India as she had given up everything she had in the hope of staying with Sumit forever.

She also broke the news that she would be moving back to India. Sumit confessed he had already filed for the divorce and made the first payment. However, Jenny still struggled to believe if he was telling the truth or lying again. She made it clear that the relationship will only move forward once she sees the divorce paper in real. Jenny further asked him if he was lying to her again. Sumit stated that he had learned from his past mistakes and would not make the same mistake again.

He wanted to make sure their relationship was built on trust and truth. Even though Jenny and Sumit plan on starting their life together, the divorce is not the only thing they have to worry about. When the pair first started living together in India, she learned about the vast differences in their culture and traditions.

Jenny will have to find a way to make herself comfortable with the changing culture while Sumit will have to make sure they are able to live a peaceful life in a society that might question their relationship. To make things worse, Jenny wants the approval of Sumit's parents but it might be a hardball to catch knowing that they are not a big fan of her. Will their love overcome these obstacles?

'90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way' airs on Mondays at 9 pm ET on TLC.
