'90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way': Jihoon admits he didn't take Deavan seriously until the birth of their child
Deavan Clegg and Jihoon Lee's relationship had been hanging by a thin thread but the pair managed to sit down and have a talk. Deavan was not happy with Jihoon as she thought he was not taking responsibility for the family. To make things worse, Deavan was not pleased to see that after months of being together, he was still not able to find a full-time job and struggled with money.
After a lot of thinking, Deavan finally made the decision of heading back to the US with the children if Jihoon was not able to take matters in his hands. However, before taking this big step, she decided to sit down with him and have a chat. While the two sat down together, Deavan begged Jihoon to tell her the reason why he had not saved enough money. Deavan had been asking Jihoon to save money ever since they got pregnant. Knowing that one day she would move to Korea to start a new life, Deavan wanted them to be prepared to face anything and have enough financial support. However, when she found out that he had not saved a lot of money, it made her wonder if he was serious about the relationship.
Jihoon confessed to Deavan and stated that he never took their relationship seriously as it was long distance. He further admitted that even when she was pregnant, the thought of taking responsibility and getting serious did not occur to him. While Deavan was hurt to hear this, he tried to explain how things changed once their son was born. He tried to explain that he understood the seriousness of their relationship right after he laid his eyes on their child. Deavan was not pleased to hear this but decided to give Jihoon another chance. She asked Jihoon to look for a new place and use the money he had saved to rent the apartment for a month.
She gave him a month to work things out and look for a full-time job. However, she warned him to take accountability for everything he had done. At the same time, gave him a month to win her trust back. Can Jihoon live up to her expectations?
