Michael and Angela were all set to start their 90 days once he arrived in the US but their hopes were soon shattered when Michael got the news that his visa has been denied. This judgment left both of them shocked and uncertain of what the future had in store for them. To get a clearer picture of what was happening, Angela decided to visit her lawyer in the US.

Angela was shattered when she realized that she will have to wait for a long time if she wanted Michael to come to the US. The lawyer hinted that it might take seven to eight months more if Michael were to come to the US through legal procedures. He further added that they could show their call logs to prove that they are in a committed and serious relationship.

Angela knew that to understand the situation better she would have to go to Nigeria for a couple of days. Without thinking things through she booked her tickets and headed to Nigeria to meet Michael. While the two were happy to meet each other, Angela just wanted to know what had happened in the visa interview.

Michael revealed that he had given them details about when and how they met. However, he failed to mention that they did have a small ceremony in Nigeria before she left for the US. The visa officials were concerned about why the pair wanted to wed in the US and not in Nigeria. Even though Michael had explained that Angela wanted the wedding to be performed in front of her mother they did not think that the reason was justifiable.

Angela could not control her anger as she thought that Michael failed to give out the reasons that could have got his visa approved. While the two are together in Nigeria now, their main concern is to get the visa approved.

'90 Day Fiancé' airs on Sundays at 8 pm on TLC.
