'90 Day Fiancé': Stephanie fears intimacy with Erika, reveals she has been celibate since her last breakup
Stephanie Matto and her partner Erika Owens met online and since then the two have been inseparable. Stephanie started a conversation with Erika when she received a personal message from her on her social media page. The two felt a connection that Stephanie had never expected before.
Seeing the connection they shared, Stephanie knew that she had to meet Erika in person if she wanted to find out if what they had was real. For this, she decided to book the tickets and fly down to Australia to meet Erika. Since the start, Stephanie had been questioning her relationship with Erika as she was unaware of how it would go.
For this purpose, she decided it would be best for her to go to Australia rather than ask her to come down to the US. With the tickets booked and the date set for her to leave, Stephanie confessed to her friend that she was worried about intimacy. She revealed that Erika had mentioned that she would kiss her as soon as she saw her at the airport.
But this thought made Stephanie fear intimacy as she revealed that she had been a celibate ever since she broke up with her ex. Even though this is not the first same-sex relationship that Stephanie has had, it is definitely the first when she hasn't met the person in real.
Stephanie was worried about how things would go between her and Erika and add to this pressure, she was concerned about coming out to her mother. In the previous episode, Stephanie had revealed that her mother may not be happy finding out that she was dating women.
She revealed that her mother had plans for her which included marriage to a suitable man. With so many things running in her mind, Stephanie knew that she was taking a big risk by going to Austalia but knew it was one that she had to take.
