BTS 'PTD on Stage': 7 unforgettable moments from four-day LA concert

The BTS concert was four days long but there were some moments that made ARMYs swoon over the boys

BTS' 'Permission to Dance on Stage' concert was a thrill to watch but some moments from the concert in LA just stole the show for fans. BTS has been so busy overseas that the group was not able to return to South Korea to attend the Melon Music Awards happening on December 4, but they made it a point to meet fans in one way or another as the boys graced the Jingle Ball show in LA. The seven members of BTS always pour their hearts out to fans and ARMYs reciprocate in equal measure. This time during the four-day concert, BTS members went all out and gave fans many moments to talk about.

In typical ARMY fashion, the fans did what they love to do and trended multiple inside jokes from the concert on Twitter and went crazy talking about everything that happened on the four-day show.

Since the concert was such a success, here are seven moments from the four-day concert that stole the show for the ARMYs

1. RM - Cursing on stage

While it is not such a big deal for international artists to curse on stage during concerts, it sure is a big deal for BTS. It looks like BTS’ leader did not hold back and spoke his heart out. On the first day of the concert on November 27, RM (Namjoon) was heard asking ARMYs to “Make some mother f**king noise."

The request had fans cheering on louder than ever as they witnessed the rapper not holding himself back - he usually keeps himself calm and composed. Another mention would be RM saying “F**k Covid,” on the last day of the concert on December 2, while the boys performed ‘Dis-ease’ from their album ‘BE’.

2. Jin - Squid Game doll and other hairstyles

While the #MoonForJin project by LA ARMYs was a hit and got Jin emotional, it was not the only special pick from the concert. Jin is known as the fake maknae of BTS, all thanks to his ever-youthful attitude and fun decisions. On all four days of the concert, Jin chose to channel his inner fashionista as he went on a hairstyle spree. On Day 1 of the concert, Jin made a coconut ponytail with his short hair and paired the hair-do with a white flower, which made it seem like a small sapling grew over his head.

The next day Jin channeled his inner ‘Squid Game’ spirit as he styled his hair with two small ponies, similar to the hairdo of the killer doll from the show. On the third day, Jin chose to make two small space buns on the top of his head as he styled them with small bows; while on the final day, Jin chose to wear an RJ (his cartoon character) headband looking cute as a button.

3. Suga - Turning into a sexy ginger-head

At this concert, Suga chose to ditch his usual black hair and shocked ARMYs with his ginger hair. As a trend that has been going on with BTS concerts in history, there is always one moment when Suga looks at the sky and pushes his hair back with his hand. This move has been called one of his sexy gestures and Suga made sure his ginger hair was part of the set of this ‘genre of Concert photos.’

Well if that was not all, Suga also did something extremely sexy that ARMYs sure cannot get over. While BTS was performing their hit single ‘Idol’, Suga picked up a bottle of water, opened its cap, tossed it to the crowd, and then went on to empty the bottle over his head only to sprinkle ARMYs with the water too.

4. J-Hope - WOW Face reaction

J-Hope is the meme legend of BTS and his intense facial expressions get fans rolling on the floor, laughing. On one of the concert days, an ARMY carried a banner with one of the memes that stemmed out of a ‘Run! BTS’ episode.

The meme is called the “Hobi wow meme”  for the uninitiated. This meme face was plastered on the banner made by a fan. When the camera captured the banner on the LED Screen set for BTS members, J-hope gave version 2.0 of the same meme.

5. Jimin - Save Jimin!

The concert had fans screaming to ‘Save Jimin’ - not once but twice, but all in good fun. On one of the concert days, while BTS was performing their hit single, ‘Save Me’, Jungkook began imitating Jimin’s signature move from the music video. That was all the indication the other members needed and soon V (Taehyung) joined in followed by Jin doing the same. Both V and Jin made so much fun of Jimin that he rushed to Suga for help. As was his fate, Suga joined in too and this had Jimin fall down to the floor laughing hysterically.

The second time fans asked for Jimin to be saved was when he was blasted by smoke guns, courtesy of Jin and Jungkook, as they drowned him in the sea of smoke and poor Jimin was just on the floor saving himself from the smoke while the rest of the members jammed to ‘So What.’

6. V - Squid Game Guard

V (Taehyung) went viral on TikTok for his costume and rightly so. He was dressed as one of the masked guards from the show ‘Squid Game’, and was seen dancing and singing his heart out behind his mask. Fans were also not getting enough of V apologizing to ARMYs and BTS members before he cursed on stage as he said, “Holy sh*t,” during his ment on Day 1 of the concert.

7. Jungkook - Shirtless JK

Jungkook has not been holding back this year and the concert was proof of it. In one clip, Jungkook is seen going backstage after the group finished a performance and the maknae followed J-Hope, who was first seen taking his shirt off as he proceeded backstage. In typical Jungkook fashion, he too decided to go shirtless as he began taking his shirt off only; unlike J-Hope, Jungkook was not wearing an undershirt. This moment had ARMYs go feral on Twitter as they trended ‘Shirtless JK’ on Twitter.
