TI challenges 'bully' 50 Cent to Verzuz battle after 'In da Club' rapper roasts him over his career stats
Rappers 50 Cent and T.I. are continuously exchanging insults in a series of posts and comments on social media, although the former is the one who started the online dispute.
What started with a single post by T.I. has now turned ugly. The rapper shared a fashionable photo of himself on Instagram on September 3 with the caption, "See tha b******t comin before it turn the corner. #BigDripper #DisAlpacaUGotstaBlotDisShit," but 50 Cent took it as an opportunity to throw shade at T.I.
Copying T.I.'s pic on his own Instagram, 50 Cent wrote, "From the desk of the Executive producer of CBS New hit show 24/7. This pretty little light skinned n---- never made no music harder than me. LOL but yeah we can make some money. @troubleman31," before promoting the Starz drama series 'Power', in which 50 Cent is a cast member. Their exchange drew a response from Timbaland, saying, "I like the build up," leading fans to think it all may be a promotional stunt to build up hype for a Verzuz battle between the two rappers.
At first, T.I. replied to 50 Cent's diss in a rather tongue-in-cheek manner as he wrote: "From the iPhone of the Executive Producer & STAR of CBS's new hit showrooms 24/7 ... you can't f**k wit a picture of me n----‼️" Then T.I. shared another photo of himself, this time looking sharp in a suit, and wrote, "Pullin up to smoke @50cent @verzuztv like.... #BringMeTheBully @therealswizzz @timbaland MAKE THIS SCARY N--- PICK A DATE‼️" challenging 50 Cent to a Verzuz rap battle. Timbaland commented again: "it’s. Time kings" and rapper 2 Chainz added, "Pop it."
50 Cent then copied T.I.'s photo yet again and wrote, "These little n----- be angry, don’t worry you’ll be a Big Dog like me one day. for now you’ll just be. I like that jacket, not bad. LOL #STARZ POWER SUNDAY!" to which T.I. replied in the comments, "Pull ya BAD A** UP den BIG DAWG Homie OG‼️ Cmon‼️ wit ya 1 album & them other Lil Luke warm songs u got...gon dust that s**t off kid."
50 Cent then posted a close-up pic of T.I.'s face and added another insult, "Bro ya beard is not quite connecting like your music. You do know i did 10,000,000 on the second album too. you just make sure you’re at work on time. OK #STARZ POWER this Sunday. #bransoncognac." To this, T.I. replied with another challenge to a Verzuz, "My idgaf face. Now PULL UP and receive this Muuuf****n SMOKE SIR."
Next, 50 Cent decided to throw another shade and this time he pulled out stats to compare his success to T.I.'s by posting a screenshot of the Wikipedia info on T.I.'s debut album which mentioned his position on the Billboard 200 chart. In the caption, 50 Cent wrote, "Bro, you can’t be serious. Wait i’m sorry things didn’t go the way you wanted them to but look at the bright side you gotta job. #STARZ POWER Sunday 9pm." T.I. replied, "I'm still waaaay DOPER than you dude but Pull UP tho @verzuztv."
The latest T.I. post was a pic of him laughing and the caption reads, "I'm DYYYIIINNNN yo Dis @50cent slow af... he actually think he got a shot wit that one & 1/2 albums he got U washed my boi. Now cmon & PULL YO YOUNG BABOON FACE A** ON UP & GET SERVED CURTIS‼️ @verzuztv #BringMeTheBully."
If that wasn't enough, 50 Cent decided to add more with an additional post. His latest was a meme of a bee and a fly which read, "Even if the bee could explain to the fly why pollin (sic) is better than s**t, the fly would not understand." In the caption he wrote, "so i just want to say to you @troubleman31 Im clear you will never understand how much better i am than you are, look even my skin is darker then yours. i’m just a better specimen of a man than you punk."
Whatever the case may be, what's more important than a back-and-forth on social media is the music, and if a Verzuz battle takes place, we are all up for it.
