The sequel to Netlfix erotica hit '365 Days' (or 365 Dni) made waves on the internet after it was released on Wednesday, April 27. During the original film's release in 2020, there was widespread speculation about leading stars Michele Morrone and Anna-Marie Sieklucka dating. Now, the rumor mill is turning once again following their cozy appearance at the film's premiere in Poland.

Netflix's '365 Days: This Day' saw key cast members return as source material author Blanka Lipinska promised "a very hot movie" with "more sex scenes," as quoted by Oprah Daily. Morrone and Sieklucka made the original title one of the streamer's most-watched and controversial films in 2020, with many wondering if the sex scenes were real. However, it was later confirmed the scenes were staged.

Is Michele Morrone dating Anna-Marie Siekluka?

The fan following of lead actors Morrone (who plays Don Massimo Toricelli) and Sieklucka (who plays Laura Biel) went wild this time after social media was inundated with photos of the duo getting cozy at the Wednesday premiere, sparking relationship rumors. Some appeared to declare that they were dating, but that hasn't been confirmed.

"I knew it. So happy for them," one tweeted, sharing a series of intimate photos from the premiere.

"He treats her like a baby girl," another wrote, sharing video footage of Morrone and Sieklucka at the event.

"I can feel the sexual tension from here," someone else added.

"I need what they have," another gushed, posting a clip of the duo holding each other.

It's worth noting that Morrone was married to popular designer Rouba Saadeh in 2014, but parted ways with her in 2018. They have two sons, Marcudo and Brado Morrone.

That said, while the sequel appears to have garnered mixed reviews at the time of publication, the original '365 Days' was based on a Polish book by author Blanka Lipinska. The plot followed a woman who fell in love with her captor and a steamy affair ensued. According to Newsweek, the synopsis of Lipinska's book is yet to be formally translated into English. Nonetheless, a preliminary translation reads:

Laura, together with her boyfriend Martin and two friends, go on holiday to Sicily. On the second day of her stay, on her twenty-ninth birthday, the girl is kidnapped. The kidnapper turns out to be the head of the Sicilian mafia family, the extremely handsome young Don Massimo Toricelli. A few years ago, he had an attempt on his life. Shot several times, he almost died - and when his heart stopped beating, he saw a girl in front of his eyes; Laura Biel. When he was brought back to life, he promised himself that he would find the woman he saw. Massimo gives the girl 365 days to make her love him and stay with him.

Following the original release in 2020, '365 Days' was labeled as soft porn and more than 75,000 people signed a petition to remove the film from Netflix. However, the streaming giant refused to take it down and issued a statement in response to the petition. β€œWe believe strongly in giving our members around the world more choice and control over their Netflix viewing experience," the statement read. "Members can choose what they do and do not want to watch by setting maturity filters at a profile level and removing specific titles to protect from the content they feel is too mature.”
