Just as the year comes to a close, K-pop award shows are slowly starting to make their reappearance. With this, a new K-pop award show is being introduced in the form of the '2022 K-Global Heart Dream Awards'. The onset of the pandemic had put a stop to many K-pop concerts and award shows and groups from the fourth-gen never really had the chance to interact with their contemporaries in the same way that third-gen idols did over the years.

Now as the pandemic has finally come to an end and the rest of the world is slowly getting back to normalcy, it seems the K-pop award shows too are making a comeback. With many K-pop groups presently hosting their solo concerts, fans will soon be able to attend year-end award shows in the days to come. The '2022 K-Global Heart Dream Awards' is presented as an award ceremony that conveys the "hearts" of fans from all over the world. The show is promised to be a spectacular K-pop festival that will blow away the summer heat.

The upcoming award show will take place in August this year and will be hosted by Choeaedol, Celuv Media, TV Daily, and YJ Partners. The show will be streamed online on Seezn for fans to stream from the comfort of their homes while the in-person show will be held at Jamsil Students Gymnasium. The show has now announced two new lineups for the upcoming award show.

The '2022 K-Global Heart Dream Awards' which will celebrate the interactions between fans and their favorite artists is a fan-voted event where fans select the winners by voting using the ranking and survey platform, Choeaedol. The first lineup for the '2022 K-Global Heart Dream Awards' includes fourth-generation girl groups like ITZY, IVE, Le Sserafim, Kep1er, as well as Oh My Girl.

Now a second lineup for the event has been revealed with K-pop acts joining with groups like TXT, The Boyz, fromis_9, VIVIZ, as well as soloist Heize. It has been reported that the third lineup of music acts will soon be announced which means that more artists from K-pop will attend the award show. Not only that but the show is set to announce its MCs as well as the award presenters for the show. The '2022 K-Global Heart Dream Awards' will be held on August 25 at 6 pm KST (5 am ET) in Seoul.
