2022 CMA Red Carpet: From Carrie Underwood to Jessica Chastain, the most unforgettable looks from the night
NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE: The 56th annual CMA Awards kicked off Wednesday, November 9, in Nashville, hosted by Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning. The gala kicked off with an opening tribute to the late Loretta Lynn, who died in October. Miranda Lambert, Reba McEntire and Carrie Underwood were part of the tribute.
Other musicians, including Kelly Clarkson, HARDY, Marcus King, Jimmie Allen, Kelsea Ballerini, Carly Pearce and the Zac Brown Band, set the stage on fire. The biggest night for country music featured stars in the fanciest attires. Here are some of the best looks of the night:

Carrie Underwood
Three-time CMA nominee and 'American Idol' winner Carrie Underwood arrived at the function in a layered blue La Métamorphose gown with a side slit that showcased her toned legs. She wore Le Silla shoes and jewelry by Natalie Mills, Angara and Nicole Rose. Her side parted hair completed the look.
Jessica Chastain
Oscar winning actress Jessica Chastain looked gorgeous. The 'Zero Dark Thirty' star stepped out in a blue lace gown by Gucci. The eye-catching ensemble featured thin straps with a lace bust line and was decorated with crystal embellishments. Chastain parted her hair in the middle and styled it in sensual waves. She also added a bold red lip for a pop of color and accessorized the look with dangling earrings.
Carly Pearce
Singer Carly Pearce’s sleek, white, long-sleeved piece featured a long hem with an exaggerated keyhole neckline, punctuated by a thigh-hit slit and central bodice cutout. She accessorized the look with sparkling blue and silver diamond post earrings, as well as layered diamond rings. Her turquoise blue $1,395 Lurum mules featured pointed toes and front straps embellished with sparkling leaf-shaped crystals, accentuated by three-inch stiletto heels.
Kelsea Ballerini
Singer Kelsea Ballerini wore a long, bright blue Balenciaga dress with a high neckline, long sleeves, built-in gloves, a cutout back and a short train. Sporting long, pin-straight blonde hair, Ballerini accessorized her floor-length gown with transparent blue-tipped heels.
Danielle Bradbery
Singer Danielle Bradbery looked stunning on the CMAs red carpet donning a pure white gown with an extremely-flattering drape. The country star complemented her ensemble with very simple makeup and a high bun. She completed her look with matching white heels and simple jewellery.
Sarah Drew
'Grey's Anatomy' actress Sarah Drew looked like a princess in her white tulle strapless dress accentuated with gold polka dots. Pairing the outfit with golden heels and a sheer, glittery cape, Drew's skin seemed to be simply glowing.
Reba McEntire
Queen of country music, Reba McEntire, dazzled on the red carpet in a dreamy blue velvet gown with a plunging neckline and tiny slit in the center that showed off her silver glittery peep-toe pumps. The dress paired perfectly with her iconic red hair.
Maddie & Tae
Singing duo Maddie Font and Tae Kerr looked good together thanks to their color-coodinated hair and black-and-white outfits.
