Country music legend Carrie Underwood will return to the 56th Academy of Country Music Awards on April 18, Sunday. The record-making 'Inside Your Heaven' singer will also perform with the medley from 'My Savior' with Cici Winans. The Grammy-winning artist is one of the most successful American singers with a list of achievements and accolades that include her being the sixth highest-certified female artist, the second highest-certified country artiste and the highest-certified female country singer of all time on the RIAA's Top Artists (Digital Singles) ranking. She is also deemed to be the female artist with the most number one entries on the Billboard Country Airplay chart (15). 

Along with the massive rankings, Carrie has also snagged seven Grammy Awards, 11 Billboard Music Awards, 15 American Music Awards, a Guinness World Record and inductions into the Hollywood Walk of Fame and the Grand Ole Opry. She also had Billboard naming her the top female country artist of the 2000s and 2010s and her album 'Some Hearts' ranking as the country album of the 2000s.

Real estate

In 2010, Carrie with her husband and NHL player Mike Fisher, bought a luxurious mansion on 11 acres near Ottawa, Canada, in the Spruce Ridge district and later put the mansion up for sale at an asking price of $2.2M. The couple also sold their 7,000-square-foot Brentwood, Tennessee, home for $1.41M in March 2020. Currently, Carrie resides with her family in Franklin, Tennessee, just outside of Nashville. This is where she calls her new 'forever home' that she and her husband have designed together. The mansion is on over 300 acres of property.

Carrie last released her gospel album 'My Savior', which debuted at No. 1 on both of Billboard's Top Country and Christian Albums charts, and No. 4 on the Billboard 200, marking her record-setting ninth consecutive number one.
