2020 Billboard Music Awards: Date, time, how to live stream, nominations and all you need to know about the show
The 2020 Billboard Music Awards, which were originally scheduled for April 29, will finally take place this month after multiple delays due to the Covid-19 pandemic. On August 14, it was announced that the annual award show is being shifted to October 14. Here's all you need to know about the show.
Time and date
The 2020 Billboard Music Awards will be held on Wednesday, October 14, at 8 pm Eastern Time and 7 pm Central Time.
When and where
It will be broadcast live on NBC from The Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.
How to livestream
Live updates will be available on the Billboard Music Awards site and you can also follow the news on Twitter by following the hashtag — #BBMAs. You can also stream it live on NBC Live.
Host
Kelly Clarkson will host the coveted show for the third time in a row. The pop music superstar also hosted the event in the years 2018 and 2019.
Performers
The artistes who'll be performing at the 2020 Billboard Music Awards were announced in three rounds first on September 29, then October 1, and, finally, October 6.
The performers are as following: Alicia Keys; Bad Bunny; BTS performing 'Dynamite'; Demi Lovato; Doja Cat performing a medley of her hits; En Vogue performing 'Free Your Mind'; Kane Brown, Swae Lee and Khalid performing 'Be Like That'; Luke Combs, Post Malone, Saint JHN's Xfinity exclusive performance of 'Roses'; Sia performing 'Courage To Change'. Garth Brooks, who'll be receiving the Icon Award, will also perform a medley of hits from throughout his career.
