In the documents, Amy claimed that Michael had been physically abusive towards their boys, using excessive force when disciplining them, a shocking claim that left fans reeling. 'Always knew the kids were doomed'

As soon as eagle-eyed fans caught wind of Amy's recent TikTok bio change, concerns about the wellbeing of her two young children, Gage and Glenn, flooded Reddit. A person slammed Amy for playing the 'single-mom' card to gain sympathy and said, "Wow! Amy’s kids deserve better." One Redditor said, "I honestly think she’s trying to get a new story line as “a single mom”. I also feel like she used him. He is clearly not all there mentally. She used him for what she needed. To haul Tammy around and to give her the kids she’s always wanted. Now he is no longer needed, she gets a storyline and she gets sympathy for being a single mom."

Another added, "I wonder if she is just feeling herself and wants to upgrade?" Another person chimed in, "I wonder if TLC will make her change her bio. I'd look out to see if or when the 'single mom' detail goes away. Or is there even another season confirmed yet? If there is then there's a chance that she can't share much on her relationship status."

With rumors of physical abuse making the rounds, fans were understandably worried about the safety of the children. A person wrote, "Always knew the kids were doomed, didn’t realize it would get this bad tho. Broken home. Terrible relationship with food. Addicted mother. Child Abuse. They are screwed." While another wrote, " Hopefully they have some good role models so they stand a chance to turn out ok. Divorce is hard enough on a kid, but add in one abusive parent and the other blind, unable to drive, or earn money… yikes."

Michael Halterman accused of 'physically disciplining' children

Things are getting even more intense in the ongoing saga of Amy and Michael. The '1000-Lb. Sisters' star recently shared some explosive allegations against him, claiming that he was physically abusive to their two young children. In her complaint, filed in a Kentucky court on February 24, Amy alleged that Michael "hits too hard" when disciplining the boys, and "pulls them by the arm." This led to authorities stepping in to ensure the children were safe.

That's not all. Amy also claimed that Michael has a violent temper and that he "throws things" when he gets angry. According to the TLC star, things came to a head when Michael got mad that she went out to eat with her sister and the children. She also alleged that Michael had been withholding money from her for their eight-month-old son. It's a troubling situation that has left the reality TV star feeling overwhelmed and unsupported. Michael, however, denied all her claims of domestic violence. However, a judge recently ruled that he must have supervised contact with the boys and that he was not allowed to physically discipline them.
