070 Shake releases new track and video 'Under the Moon' from debut album 'Modus Vivendi', world tour to commence in January

The video for 'Under The Moon' features a laid-back, almost relaxing, take on contemporary rap. In shots of lonely urban nightlife and decay, we see Shake internally wrestling with the carnalities of consumption and the addictions that attach themselves to such feelings

070 Shake, the innovative, genre-defying artist who garnered huge buzz from Kanye West’s 2018 Wyoming sessions, announced December 13, the official release date of her highly-anticipated debut album, 'Modus Vivendi', arriving January 17, 2020. Simultaneously, Shake has released a new track and video from the album, 'Under The Moon'.

She has also announced a world tour beginning in January. 'Under The Moon' follows 'Morrow' and 'Nice To Have,' which introduced fans to a new side of 070 Shake when they were released simultaneously as the first advance tracks from the debut album.

'Morrow' found Shake taking everything she learned during the Wyoming sessions and transfer it to an up-tempo record that was rowdy and ethereal. 'Nice To Have' slowed things down as she reflected on a past lover.

The video for 'Under The Moon' features a laid-back, almost relaxing, take on contemporary rap. In shots of lonely urban nightlife and decay, we see Shake internally wrestling with the carnalities of consumption and the addictions that attach themselves to such feelings.

It appears doleful, tragic - evident in Shake's lyrics amid an empty urban setting while being "under the moon". 'Modus Vivendi' opens the next phase of 070 Shake’s journey. The album brings her reflective style to the spotlight with boundary-pushing creativity and pure emotional honesty as her compass.

“I just really go with how I feel in the moment, and then that’s where the writing comes from. It’s like an ongoing disperse of words when I feel something,” Shake said.

In a world obsessed with consumption, Shake is a much-needed breath of fresh air, more than ready to make her impact felt through music. “I want it to make a change in the world. The agenda is bigger than just music,” she added.
