Zoe Kravitz's WEIRD interview with Jaden Smith resurfaces after actress seemingly slams Will Smith for Chris Rock slap
Hours after Jim Carrey ripped apart “spineless” Oscars for a standing ovation, Zoe Kravitz too took a dig at Will Smith for slapping Chris Rock after the latter cracked a balding joke on Jada Pinkett Smith during the award ceremony. Zoe, who is currently basking in the success of her new flick ‘Batman’, took to Instagram and slammed Will Smith for his actions.
However, the 33-year-old actress soon got canceled as the Internet got hold of her earlier interview with Will Smith’s rapper son Jaden Smith. For the unversed, Zoe and Jaden together worked in the 2013 post-apocalyptic action film ‘After Earth’ that also had Will and Jada in prominent roles. In a 2013 interview with V Magazine, Zoe praised how then 14-year-old Jaden Smith was handsome and how she wanted to hang out with him when he grows older.

Zoe Kravitz canceled after slamming Will Smith
On her Instagram, Zoe first shared a picture from the red carpet of 94th Academy Awards and captioned it as, “Here's a picture of my dress at the award show where we are apparently assaulting people on stage now.” She then again posted another picture from the award ceremony’s after-party and captioned it as, “And here is a picture of my dress at the party after the award show -where we are apparently screaming profanities and assaulting people on stage now.”
Zoe Kravitz was trolled by the Internet after her 2013 interview resurfaced where she had said, “There were moments that I was hanging out with Jaden and thinking, I can't believe you're 14, I have to check myself, like what I say to you,” adding, “He has so much personality and so much swag, he is so much cooler than I am. And he's so handsome, I was always like, when you're older, you know, we'll hang out…Nope, that's inappropriate, you're 14." An old video interview also surfaced on Twitter where Zoe dubs Jaden as the love of her life during an interaction at a red-carpet event.
Zoe taking a dig at Will Smith comes a day after the latter apologized for his actions saying, “Violence in all of its forms is poisonous and destructive,” Will wrote on Instagram. “My behavior at last night’s Academy Awards was unacceptable and inexcusable. Jokes at my expense are a part of the job, but a joke about Jada’s medical condition was too much for me to bear and I reacted emotionally.” He added, “I would like to publicly apologize to you, Chris. I was out of line and I was wrong. I am embarrassed and my actions were not indicative of the man I want to be. There is no place for violence in a world of love and kindness.”
The Internet, which can never be faulted for allowing logic to trump passion, wouldn't let the matter rest. Fans of Zoe's performance as Catwoman in the new 'Batman' movie were quick to scream their disappointment into the ether.

But others were quick to rush to the actress's defense after the Internet started it's usual spout of unfettered and unsubstantiated hate.
The speed at which people turned on Zoe Kravitz and Jim Carrey for their opinions speaks to how little "fans" really care about you so as long as you say what they want you to say.

It’s because women aren’t allowed to voice opinions against violence. They’re only allowed to experience it. I’ve heard say Black Women are the most disrespected people in the world but it’s okay to do so if you too are a black woman dishing the disrespect. @ZoeKravitz
