Zayn, on his official Instagram account, shared a post that shows a polaroid photograph of himself with the caption, "Got some stuff to show ya soon!" Excited fans in the comment section couldn't contain themselves at the idea of new music by Zayn. One of the fans commented, "GOOD because we miss you king," while another simply asked, "New Music?"

Soon after his post, Zayn started trending on Twitter, but not because of speculation of him releasing new music. Instead, fans found out that Zayn is allegedly going to star in an upcoming 2023 movie titled, 'Hard Knock Life in Detroit' and rumor has it that his co-star is Zendaya. Tweeting about this film, which is reportedly being directed by Spike Lee, a fan of Zayn tweeted, "Shut the f**k up. zayn AND zendaya in a movie TOGETHER WHAT THE F**K."

Though the news of any such movie is absolutely unconfirmed, screenshots about the details of the movie started doing the rounds. One fan, unable to believe the news, tweeted, "ZENDAYA AND ZAYN IN A MOVIE PLEASE GOD LET IT BE REAL EVEN THO IT MAKES ZERO SENSE."

Sharing screenshots about the details of the movie, one user tweeted, "IDK IF THIS IS TRUE BUT ZOUIS SAVING 2020, omg jude demorest, zendaya and zayn??? this couldn’t get any better."

Talking about the purported unconfirmed movie, which is allegedly set to star Zayn, Zendaya, Common and Eminem, a fan of the former One Direction star said, "Paghe Nola Jones and Zayn Malik are set to star in Hard Knock Life in Detroit (2023) alongside Zendaya and Big Sean, Directed by Spike Lee."

Fans of One Direction were excited by the news. One of them, counting how this week has been eventful for each former One Direction member, tweeted, "Louis won artist of the summer, harry is casting for the golden mv, zayn will probably drop z3 anytime soon and we just found out he’s also gonna be in a movie and next we’ll get a new song from liam and a livestream from niall on his birthday everyone manifest with me."

More Twitter users wrote about the unconfirmed movie with excitement. One fan tweeted, "ZAYN???? ZENDAYA??? AND EMINEM??? BRO 2023 FINNA BE LIT!!"

Similarly, another fan, who was unable to believe the news, tweeted: "THERE IS NO F**KING WAY WHERE ZAYN AND ZENDAYA ARE BOTH INVOLVED IN A MOVIE I AM ABOUT TO PASS OUT!"
