Zayn Malik has dropped a full-length album ‘Nobody’s Listening’ after months of teasing and talking about the new project and fans simply can’t get enough of the new and raw Zayn Malik, with his soulful voice and carefully built R&B to carry it through. Zayn had released a pre-release single ‘Better’ prior to the ‘Nobody’s Listening’ in October 2020 where he opened up about the new album a bit more, sharing that this has been his "most personal project" to date. After the album dropped, Zayn took it to Twitter to thank his fans for the constant support writing, “Just wanna say, it feels great to share this with you all! everyone’s support and love means a lot, here’s to a great year hope it better than the last!”

Lyrics

The moody eleven tracks of ‘Nobody’s Listening’ brings out a rather personal, laidback and intimate vibe throughout the album. The album starts with ‘Calamity’ where Zayn takes a trip through Nostalgia and boldly sings, “Nostalgia, what a funny feeling/ I feel depleted from feelings I've been revealin'/It's do or die, I'm not goin' willing/ But when it's time, wrap in white linen/ I rap this, I say it for my sanity/ Whatever the calamity, I did this for myself. Fuck all of your fantasies” followed by “You're a snake, fell off the ladder/ I prefer speakin' in analogies/ I had enough of all this work/ And I can't trust that you're family/ I don't know what's next/ The rend dead, that I never miss/ My brain lives with the cannabis/ Can I resist the dark abyss?”

Another fan favorite, ‘Vibez’ also brings out a whole load of feelings when Zayn sings, Y"ou and me here in this room/ Imaginin' things we could do/ Won't tell no lies, no lies to you/ I need you here, I need you here/ Mind runnin' wild, we touchin' slow/ Just say the word, I'm ready to go, oh/ Anticipation plays after four/ I need you now!”
