Young Thug 'Slime Language 2': Release date, tracklist, concept and all you need to know about rapper’s new album
Come November end, fans of American rapper Young Thug will be treated with his brand new project, titled 'Slime Language 2'. The 29-year-old rapper, whose real name is Jeffrey Lamar Williams, had first announced the project in July 2020 but couldn't release it on the expected date. However, Young Thug then pushed the new record to November and teased his new music with an Instagram post.
Sharing a photo of himself, the rapper captioned the Instagram picture alongside the new announcement: "Slime Language 2 dropping on Black Friday! 11.27.20."
'Slime Language 2' is a follow-up to 2018 ‘Slime Language’ which featured artists like Gunna, Duke, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Baby, Jacquees, and a few others and had debuted at number eight on the US Billboard 200.
Release date
As confirmed by the rapper via his Instagram post, ‘Slime Language 2’ will hit the Internet on November 27, 2020.
Concept
Though Young Thug never made it official, it is assumed the post which he shared on his official Instagram account might be the cover art of ‘Slime Language 2.’ In the picture, we can see the ‘Stoner’ hitmaker standing in front of a vault with bundles of cash in his hands while being enveloped with a ton load of money along with a money sack kept in the side. The entire theme appears to be a bank robbery.
