'Young, Famous & African': Diamond Platinumz snubs Nadia for ex-girlfriend Zari
For South Africa's rich and famous, they always get what they want. From partying to partners, everything seems to be at their beck and call. But it looks like there is some spicy drama brewing under it all, as seen on 'Young, Famous & African'. While Diamond Platinumz has been rather vocal about his interest in rapper Nadia Nakai, it looks like there is more to the situation than meets the eye.
Since Khanyi's lavish ball, it looks like Diamond Platinumz has had his eye on Nadia Nakai. He even dedicated a song to her during the party and spent time getting to know her later that night. While Nadia claimed that she was seeing American rapper Vic Mensa, that didn't stop Diamond Platinumz from flirting with her.

He even invited her to go car shopping with him to take it a step further, stating that she would know what car to pick for him. Nadia met up with Khanyi and Kayleigh before she could meet Diamond Platinumz. While they joked about how he was trying to get her, Nadia admitted that she was happy in her relationship but wanted to have Diamond Platinumz, so that they could collab or make music.
The pair even went car shopping, and while their tastes were vastly different, they seemed to get along relatively well. But the spark between them didn't last very long, as Diamond Platinumz's Arabian Nights themed party brought some interesting facts to light. The talk among the group has been that Diamond Platinumz is still in love with his ex and baby mama, Zari Hassan. While the pair share two kids that they co-parent, their relationship as a couple was beyond reconciliation due to Diamond Platinumz's constant cheating. However, by the way he spoke about her, it was clear that he still had feelings lingering for her.
While the group settled into the party, Zari appeared, taking everyone off guard. She even got Diamond Platinumz a gift, and the two seemed so preoccupied with each other that they forgot the rest of the group. Even Nadia felt as though she was suddenly sidelined, making the entire situation awkward. While everyone suspects the two still have a spark, Zari spoke to Diamond Platinumz about how he truly took her for granted when they were together, while he didn't have much to say.
