Who is Diamond Platnumz?

Nasibu Abdul Juma Issack, known by his stage name, Diamond Platnumz, is a Bongo Flava recording artist, dancer, philanthropist, and businessman. He was born on October 2, 1989, in Tandale, Dar es Salaam and is of Ha heritage. At 17, Diamond Platnumz was selling clothes to earn money in order to record his music. His first single was 'Toka Mwanzo', a Bongo Flava song fused with R&B. While it achieved no commercial success, his single 'Kamwambie' is what put him in the spotlight, seeing that it won three Tanzania Music Awards. 

With regard to his personal life, Diamond is a Muslim and the father of four children. He has two children with his former partner, businesswoman Zari Hassan, one child with Tanzanian model Hamisa Mobeto and one child with Kenyan model and musician Tanasha Donna.

Diamond Platnumz has a net worth of $7 million, as per Glusea.com. He is the founder and CEO of WCB Wasafi Record Label, Zoom Extra, Wasafi Bet, and Wasafi Media. He was also the first Africa-based artist to rake up a combined total of 900 million YouTube views. In addition to this, he is also the brand ambassador for brands like Pepsi, Parimatch Africa, Nice One, and Coral Paints.
