YouTube Originals 'Hello 2021: The Americas' Full List of Performers: Dua Lipa, Finneas, J Balvin and all other singers at New Year's event

The event hosted by Juanpa Zurita and Storm Reid will see global musicians taking over the stage but without a live audience

Thanks to the global pandemic, the entire world will be sitting at home for the New Year’s, but despite the unfortunate change of plans, the party animals can still have a gala time by tuning into YouTube Originals’ New Year’s special event called ‘Hello 2021: the Americas'. The social media giant has planned a virtual live event to make sure you welcome 2021 with a bang. The event hosted by Juanpa Zurita and Storm Reid will see global musicians taking over the stage but without a live audience.

Speaking about the event, YouTube Global Head of Original Content Susanne Daniels said, as reported by the website The Brag, "With the world ready to move past an extremely challenging year, YouTube will use its global reach to celebrate the hope and promise of 2021. We look forward to closing the book on 2020 and throwing a worldwide celebration that our YouTube community can safely enjoy from home.” Speaking of the performers, here’s what the list of music heavyweights performing at the virtual event looks like.

Dua Lipa

The 25-year-old singer had an amazing year with her music topping the charts and she ruling hearts. The versatile crooner is going to treat viewers with her bangers such as ‘Don’t Start Now’ and ‘Levitating’ to make sure 2021 starts on a high note.

 J Balvin

The 35-year-old Columbian reggae singer is one of the top musicians of 2020 and he will probably belt out his hits such as ‘Rojo', ‘Blanco', ‘Rosa', and ‘Verde', among others.

YG

With tracks such as ‘Equinox', ‘FTP', ‘Surgery', ‘Swag’ and ‘Out on Bail', he surely won’t disappoint his loyal fans. The 30-year-old rapper is going to make sure the fans groove to his chart-topping hip-hop tracks.

Kane Brown

The 27-year-old singer-songwriter was one of the top artistes of 2020. Apart from chart-topping singles, he also took home several awards at different award ceremonies. The talented crooner is expected to mesmerize the audiences sitting at home with his songs such as ‘Worldwide Beautiful’ and ‘Be Like That'.

Yungblud

The 23-year-old British singer-songwriter will floor his audience with his latest tracks such as ‘Cotton Candy', ‘Weird', and ‘Acting Like That'. He had dropped his debut EP in 2018 called ‘Yungblud’ followed by an LP titled ‘21st Century Liability’ in the same year. 

Finneas

We all know Finneas as the brother of Grammy award-winning artist Billie Eilish. However, the 19-year-old teen crooner will not be accompanying her brother on ‘Hello 2021: the Americas'. Speaking of Finneas, he might perform his individual hit songs such as ‘What They’ll Say About Us’ and ‘Can’t Wait to be Dead'.

Ne-Yo

The award-winning singer-songwriter, actor and producer will also be a part of YouTube Originals’ New Year’s special event. The 41-year-old crooner is known for his hit singles such as ‘One In a Million', ‘Closer' and ‘Another Love Song'. He is expected to floor his online audiences with the same.

James Blunt

The British singer-songwriter enjoys a massive fan following around the world and he will surely succeed in serenading the online viewers with his famed falsetto voice. He is expected to belt out his singles such as ‘You’re Beautiful', ‘Carry You Home', ‘Bonfire Heart’ and ‘Stay the Night', among a few others.
 
The lineup will be joined by guests namely Demi Lovato, Matthew McConaughey, Behzinga, RuPaul, Larray, Emma Chamberlain, Anne-Marie, Marques Brownlee and the D’Amelio Family.

When will it air?

‘Hello 2021’ will also host events in the United Kingdom, Korea, Japan and India. The ‘Americas’ celebration will be aired on Thursday, December 31, 2020, at 10.30 pm ET/7.30 pm PT on the YouTube Originals channel. The event will additionally also feature speeches, dance breaks and more original content from celebrity guests.
