David Koepp's latest psychological thriller slash horror film is all about a remote location and what looks like a haunted house that just won't let you go. Titled 'You Should Have Left', the official synopsis very vaguely states: "A screenwriter travels to a remote house in Wales with his family so that he can write the sequel to his big hit film, but he begins to regret his decision after suffering from a severe case of writer's block." But it is some really unexpected faces behind these characters that will blow your mind. Wrapping it up with a crisp three when it comes to the number of main characters the mystery thriller revolves around, here's the who's who of 'You Should Have Left'.

Amanda Seyfried

The 'Mean Girls' and 'Dear John' actress who entered the world of acting at the age of 11 went on to star in some of the most memorable performances of our time. From the sultry seductress in 'Chloe' to the confused young adult looking for her real father in the original musical 'Mamma Mia!', followed by the children's classic 'Red Riding Hood', Seyfried has shown incredible promise and depth in every role she takes up, be it the ditzy blonde or the intense femme fatal. She joins the cast of 'You Should Have Left' as Susanna, an actor whose work in the UK calls for her nuclear family of a husband and a young daughter to relocate to a poorly connected area, and thus, the ominous house.

Kevin Bacon

Having debuted in 1978's 'National Lampoon's Animal House', Bacon's most significant performance that shot him to fame was in 1982's 'Diner'. Soon followed 'Footloose' (1984), 'She's Having a Baby' (1988), 'Tremors' (1990) with Fred Ward, 'Flatliners' (1990) and 'Apollo 13' (1995). Married with two kids to the hilarious Kyra Sedgwick, Bacon stars as the screenwriter Theo Conroy in Koepp's thriller. Theo moves to this strangely gigantic house in the middle of nowhere and thus begins his spiral towards the imminent formidable end.

Avery Tiiu Essex

Avery Tiiu Essex stars as Theo and Susanna's daughter Ella, who is somewhere under seven years of age. Apart from Koepp's thriller, Tiiu Essex's other credited work is in a 2019 episode of 'Modern Family' as the child version of Julie Bowen's character Claire Pritchett.
