Zayn Malik unfollows Gigi Hadid as rumors of model's 'relationship' with Leonardo DiCaprio gain credence
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Zayn Malik appears to have stopped following Gigi Hadid on social media. The model and his daughter's mother and the recently single Leonardo DiCaprio are the subject of ongoing relationship speculations. The supermodel continues to follow the former One Direction member despite his "jealous" move.
Just weeks after the Titanic actor's breakup with ex-girlfriend Camila Morrone, insiders told Radar that DiCaprio and Hadid were spending time together in New York in mid-September. They said the two were "taking it slow" and "getting to know each other." Days later, it was said that the two were both present at the same posh Manhattan neighbourhood party at Casa Cipriani.

Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid ‘getting along’ post split, says source: 'Doing it for their daughter'
"Leo is definitely pursuing Gigi," a source spilled, with another insider adding the potential couple have been "hanging out with groups of people" rather than just one-on-one. "It's only been a few weeks since the split. Since then, he's been hanging out with friends and family," the source added.
Hadid and Malik, who have a two-year-old daughter together named Khai, ended their relationship after the 29-year-old allegedly got into a verbal fight with the model's mother Yolanda, a former 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' cast member, that got violent. The 'RHOBH' star came by Hadid and Malik's house unannounced in the hopes of paying a visit to her granddaughter, which led to the dispute. The former boy bander allegedly shoved her and called her a "f*****g Dutch s**t" and told her to "stay away from [my] f*****g daughter."
Malik was fired from his record label as a result of the brawl, given probation, and told to take anger management classes. Hadid also made the decision to permanently end their relationship. "They are not together right now," a family friend shared, adding, "They are both good parents though. They co-parent. Yolanda is of course very protective of Gigi. She wants the best for her daughter and grandchild."
The artist deals with "personal demons," according to a source who talked exclusively to Radar at the time, including substance misuse with marijuana, cocaine, and alcohol. Since then, the two have developed a cordial coparenting arrangement and just celebrated their daughter's second birthday.
