There is no denying that the dancers on 'World of Dance' are exceptionally talented. After wowing the judges in the qualifiers round, the dancers managed to make it to the duels round. The round pits a dancer against another, and they have to fight it out for a spot in the coveted semi-finals round. The first round of upper-division duels round set the bar very high, so we had no doubts about the second round of duel being equally gripping.

The first set of performers for round 2 was none other than Jake and Chau, and Josh and Erica. Jake and Chau left the judges awestruck with their performance during the qualifiers, and it was no different in the duels round either. The duo performed to a sultry Jacob Banks track 'Chainsmoking'. Their movements and timing were so good that the judges were hard-pressed to find flaws. While Ne-Yo did notice some minute errors in their routine, he kept insisting they weren't anything major.

After Jake and Chau's impressive performance, Josh and Erica took over the stage. They too put on a brilliant performance, that left the judges divided. While Ne-Yo didn't seem very impressed with the couple's routine, JLo and Derek Hough couldn't stop singing praises of Erica and Josh's beautiful performance.

The judges finally had to share their verdict. While we knew that Ne-Yo would most definitely be picking Jake and Chau, we were curious about the other two judges' decisions. JLo and Derek surprised everyone by picking Jake and Chau. Fans were happy with the judges' decision and took to Twitter to express it. A fan tweeted, "Agreed, they made the right decision in choosing Jake and Chau  #WorldofDance." Another fan wrote, "jake and chau superiority yup yup it's what they deserve #WorldOfDance." "Yes picked my favorites Jake and Chau #worldofdance," expressed another fan. "I hope Jake & Chau move forward after this duel. Their athleticism blows my mind #worldofdance," shared a fan. "Jake & Chau won this duel! Amazing!!!  #WorldofDance," declared another.

'World of Dance' airs every Wednesday at 10/9 c only on NBC.
