'Wonder Woman' #750 releases this Wednesday, and it debuts the new DC timeline that establishes Wonder Woman as the first superhero in the DC Universe's new history.

Featuring writing and art from a variety of creators, including fan-favorite writers Greg Rucka and Gail Simone, this 96-page comic celebrates Wonder Woman's vast history while setting up her future.

The landmark issue will return the 'Wonder Woman' title to its original numbering, celebrating 750 issues of 'Wonder Woman' comics with a series of stories from the industry's best.

The issue will lead with the conclusion to the Wonder Woman-Cheetah conflict that has been building up in the current issues of 'Wonder Woman' by Steve Orlando and Jesús Merino.

In an interview with ScreenRant, Orlando hyped up the upcoming issue. "With our story in WONDER WOMAN 750, we wanted to offer a THANK YOU and a conclusion to the long-running storyline between Wonder Woman and Cheetah."

"We take the opportunity to refocus, redefine, and rededicate Diana to her mission: truth, love, peace. Our CREDITS will say both 'FINALE' as well as 'A NEW BEGINNING'. And we mean that," he said.

Orlando continued, "If you've been following Wonder Woman for a long time, you'll get the big blowoff you deserve between her and Cheetah, as well as her and the Gods."

He added, "And if you're new? You'll watch Diana reset her life and rebuild herself and her mission, even her tools, armor and weapons, from the ground up after losing almost everything during G Willow Wilson's breakneck and awesome run."

The special will also see a story written by Scott Snyder and drawn by Bryan Hitch that will be the first steps in establishing a new, cohesive storyline for the DC Universe.

According to DC Co-Publisher Dan DiDio, speaking to Newsarama, "The change in numbering is purposeful in the sense that [Wonder Woman #750] is the first time that we're acknowledging the timeline, and establishing [Wonder Woman] as our first superhero, in a story by Scott Snyder and Bryan Hitch."

The issue will be filled with stories from Wonder Woman's past, present and future. One featured story is the much-awaited return of Star-Blossom, a character introduced in the 'Wonder Woman 75th Anniversary Special' written by Gail Simone and drawn by Colleen Doran.
