Wilmer Valderrama 'skittish' about marrying fiancee Amanda Pacheco despite her 'gentle pressure'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Wilmer Valderrama is reportedly getting cold feet as he still doesn't seem to be ready to marry his longtime fiancee, Amanda Pacheco. His film director and partner, on the other hand, appears to be on a different page as she keeps "gently pressuring" him to fixa date to exchange their vows.
"They're happy and in love, so Amanda can't figure out why he's being so skittish about marrying her," an insider dished to RadarOnline, claiming that Pacheco is tired of waiting around. "She's more than ready and has suggested all sorts of wedding options," said the insider, adding that the model has gone out of her way to make everything "low stress for him." So much so, she reportedly would not mind if they chose to have a low-key reception or if he "just wanted to elope." However, neither of the ideas interested the 'That 70s Show' actor.

'He's very committed to Amanda'
"It's not like Wilmer wants to go backward or anything," the insider said before adding, "He's very committed to Amanda, but he needs to step up and prove it." Valderrama and Pacheco got engaged in January 2020, months after they were first romantically linked in April 2019. The 'NCIS' star was previously in a relationship with Demi Lovato. The pair dated for six years before ultimately ending things in June 2016.

Valderrama popped the question to his bride-to-be at a La Jolla beach in California as he went down on one knee with a diamond ring in hand. He shared the sweet moment in a social media post that showed the couple overlooking the ocean. Only a year after getting engaged, the pair welcomed their daughter in February. They had previously announced that Pacheco is pregnant with their first child in December 2020. "Life is an ever-evolving journey, and for all those times when our path needs a light … often angels are sent to show us the way and that we can be more ... straight out of heaven we welcome our first daughter," they wrote, announcing the birth of their firstborn.
Valderrama on life as a parent
Talking about her life as a parent, Valderrama assured family life did not dry up the romance in his life. "As soon as the baby goes down, we hop on our Vespa and just cruise around the neighborhood. You find new ways to do date night," he shared with Parents Latina, as per OK Magazine. He also opened up about learning new ways to train his child. "I didn't think I had the heart for sleep training Nakano. But it is so empowering!" he explained. "It's what allows you to get back to focusing on your partner. When you have a baby that sleeps through the night, it's a lot easier to stay connected", he added.
