The day has finally arrived and Season 3 of ‘The Umbrella Academy’ is now streaming on Netflix. The show has returned to the streaming platform after a hiatus of more than two years and made its way to Netflix with the highly-anticipated season 3. Fans were eagerly waiting for the show to return because they wanted to see how things can get even worse for the Hargreeves siblings after they managed to stop the apocalypse in the previous edition.

Season 3 is all about the Umbrellas trying to get out of a timeline that sees Reginald Hargreeves alive again. Moreover, Ben is there too and he’s now the leader of a group named The Sparrows. The chaos ensues when they get to know that kugelblitz, a type of black hole, is going to end this timeline and eat everything that will come in its way. On the other hand, Sparrows and Umbrellas are in a fight with each other because they feel they are dangerous.

'The Umbrella Academy' Season 3 Ending Explained: Did Hargreeves siblings lose all their powers?

Overall, the season is much darker than expected and the emotional arcs give this season the much-needed emotional depth. However, the ending of Season 3 asks us one important question: is there anything more to be explored? Although the answer to that answer is yes, let’s see if the Netflix series will be coming out with Season 4 or not.

Here’s everything you need to know about Season 4.

When does ‘The Umbrella Academy’ Season 4 release and where can you watch it?

First things first, Netflix hasn’t announced that the series has already been renewed for Season 4. The announcement might come in a few days or a couple of weeks, but as of now, there’s no official word on Season 4.

If the series gets renewed for Season 4, it will be premiering exclusively on Netflix.

What is ‘The Umbrella Academy’ all about?

‘The Umbrella Academy’ is all about Hargreeves siblings – Viktor, Luther, Five, Allison, Klaus, Diego, and Ben – and their adventures. However, they always tend to make things complicated with their superpowers and then try their luck to stop all the dangerous things that come their way.

Season 3 ended with Reginald Hargreeves being the villain once again. He was about to drain all the powers from the remaining members of the group and use them to switch on an alien machine. However, Allison soon realizes that Reginald is trying to kill all of them by draining their powers and kills Reginald first. They manage to reset the timeline and when they arrive in the new timeline, everyone is healed and pretty much alive.

However, they have lost all their powers. The season ends with every member choosing to walk on their own paths and the team gets disbanded again. Meanwhile, Luther walks away to search for his wife Sloane (Genesis Rodriguez), a member of the Sparrows, who doesn’t come out in the new timeline.

Now, it will be interesting to see how the makers will bring the team together again. Also, Luther’s wife Sloane is out there somewhere and he is on his way to find her. This might be one of the storylines in the upcoming edition. However, if the show has to return, there needs to be a better reason for the team to get together.

Who will star in Season 4 of the Netflix show?

All the remaining members of the group will be making a return if the show gets renewed. We expect to see Elliot Page (Viktor), Tom Hopper (Luther), David Castañeda (Diego), Emmy Raver-Lampman (Allison), Robert Sheehan (Klaus), and Aidan Gallagher (Number Five) come back for more.

With Ben alive now, Justin H Min might also make a return to the series. Meanwhile, Genesis Rodriguez’s Sloane might also come back for Season 4.

What is the latest buzz around the show?

1)  Season 3 of ‘The Umbrella Academy’ just made its way to Netflix and currently holds a rating of 92 per cent on Rotten Tomatoes.

2) As of now, the Netflix series has not been renewed for Season 4, but the announcement might come a couple of weeks later.
